This guy was awesome to work with! Very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable about what hes doing. I can say that he helped me with my DUI and got the best result possible in court itself! Better yet, he won my BHC hearing(which is rare) in my favor and can legally drive again! This made my day and I can't thank him enough for the work he's done and helped me get through! I don’t know if I have gotten the outcome from the courts but I have been told that my DWI would not be on my records. But haven’t had any one run my name yet. But I have gotten a lot of hospital bills from Truman medical and they all say MBA Law. So we will see

For those of you that utilize reviews to help you make informed business/life decisions I encourage you to read this review. For foundation, I am an overly detailed researcher. I state that early in this review for a foundation to my ending point(s). Late September 2023 I was involved in an alcohol related driving offense. Understanding that each situation differs I will not go into deep detail about my personal experience. Suffice it to say, I needed an attorney to help me navigate the massive legal jungle in the alcohol offenses space when driving. I went overboard seeking the best legal expert representative that not only met my legal needs but was a perfect motivational fit for my behavioral traits: • Had to be a patient provider – I ask an overwhelming set of questions and repeat questions frequently to ensure understanding. • Be able to provide a detailed plan of legal action while providing “what if” scenarios that could cause the plan to change – and explain all the “what ifs” that could cause the plans to change and the various results of those changes • Constant and frequent communicator with numerous questions Long story short, I am a pain in the back side and have incredibly high expectations – borderline unreasonable. Enter Mr. David Lurie. Hours of research and seeking referrals resulted in a very strong referral to David - from a trusted attorney/neighbor who does not practice criminal law. They highly recommend David. David was the first of many attorneys I spoke with who invited me to his office for a face-to-face discission about my situation and needs. Of over 20 attorneys I spoke to, he was the only one that asked me to visit face to face and did not bring up money in the first two minutes of the discussion. David spent two hours with me and never brought up his fee one time. After my deep dive into his experience (of which he has an extensive amount of) David answered no less that 40 of my questions, what if scenarios and then provided me with a detailed plan of action with the aforementioned “what if” scenarios that could cause a change in plans and legal outcomes. One of my main takeaways was the customization of the plans to my individual case and needs. Several other attorneys I spoke to had a canned approach. Pay $X amount for their services and they follow a canned/standard approach. Very vanilla with a zero-flexibility defense. Not David. He provided a wide range of approaches, options and flexibility. He also discussed potential pitfalls ensuring I knew the good and the possible negatives. I would assume by now you understand that I am too long winded. Allow me to summarize it in this manner: • David provides best in class legal expertise, coaching and professionalism. • He customizes his approach to you as an individual based on your situation and needs. • His customer service is second to none. If I called he would either answer or the returned messages was swiftly. If I emailed I would receive detailed responses in short order. • My confidence in David never waivered from our first handshake through to the conclusion. Not once. • This might not be important to all, but to some it will be. David knows so many people in all areas of the legal process – of which there are many- and all over Kansas City and the surrounding areas. He knew them all by first name and on a personal level. Think about that – Judges, Victim Impact team members, SATOP team members, Probation officers, and so on. While I cannot say that had an impact on the outcome of my case it sure felt to me like it had a positive impact. • Boutique Practice – Customized approach. No canned / standard approach. I could type for a month of Sundays about my overwhelming positive experience with David. I will summarize by saying this – THE OUTCOME OF MY CASE WAS BETTER THAN THE BEST INITIAL SCENARIO! David’s results were better than the best predicted outcome of my case. I have authorized David to give anyone seeking legal advice my permission to contact me directly for additional questions about my experience.
