Wow. Honestly, there aren’t words for how good Nicole is. I was in the very unfortunate position of having to file for divorce at eight months pregnant, to get out of my unsafe marriage. From day one until the end of my divorce 12 months later, Nicole took charge and led the way on my case, obviously drawing from a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience. Nicole is top shelf and probably at the top of the top shelf- there is no one better in Kansas City. Nicole is funny, kind, and sympathetic, I truly enjoyed her on a personal level and I’ll miss her now (how often do people say that about divorce attorneys??) but she is not to be played with. I can’t overstate that- Nicole does not play. And when securing a good future for your children is one the line, with nefarious characters on the other side, that’s what you need. For what I spent in legal fees, I don’t want to know better than my attorney or have better ideas than my attorney- that’s what I pay you for! I was happy and relieved to take every piece of advice Nicole ever gave me, she had my best interest and my child’s best interest at heart and that was the goal she always worked towards. Nicole’s knowledge of the law is very thorough and her understanding and implementation of strategy, I think, is impeccable. If you hire Nicole, let her guide you and do her job, she is going to get you the best result that anyone could. Every single time Nicole was up to bat, either in talking with opposing counsel or the Judge, every single word that came out of her mouth was gold for me. She’s not cheap but she is the best money I’ve ever spent. Nicole will not be out-strategied, out-knowledged, out-clevered… as I said, she’s top shelf. Nicole’s office staff is wonderful as well. Attentive, respectful, attentive and always on their game. Taking care of all the details and paperwork and always and always prepared. Her para, Nicole Craft is incredible and I told Fisher more than once that whatever she pays her isn’t enough 😉 10/10 Hire them.

Mitch and Allison are extremely good at what they do. I cannot say enough good things about them, their due diligence, attention to detail and accuracy was unparalleled. Mitch cares much more about the client than himself or the money he makes. He embodies integrity, honesty and sincerity in every way. Allison is as detail oriented as they get. I started with another major law firm and they were terrible, refused to do much work and did not even find the policy limitations. As soon as I switched to Mitch Burgess, things got so much easier. He helped me along the way with so many pieces of this difficult process. I am extremely pleased with how things went. I cannot recommend them enough! DO NOT GO with other bigger firms, you will just be a number!
