Terrible service. Terrible communication from them. Expensive and all they worry about is their commission and nothing about their clients. For a firm that says they are great at family law, they should probably care about the families they are supposed to be helping. Simply terrible.

There is no shortage of lawyers in Kansas City, so I would suggest choosing any one of them, other than The Reynolds Law Firm. My wife hired them because she was being extorted.Two years later and nearly $40,000 charged by the firm, they accomplished absolutely nothing. No depositions. No trial. No settlement. They had no idea what they were doing and they were charging $350 an hour for research on laws that for $350 an hour, they should have learned in law school. Imagine agreeing to pay a plumber $350 an hour, then he charges you to read an instruction manual on how to be a plumber. Mr. Reynolds appeared so intimidated by the defendants lawyers, I wondered if he had ever been in a courtroom at all. The Reynolds Law Firm is a fleece farm. Dont get conned. Mr. Reynolds and his outstanding team provide the finest in legal representation when you are going thru what may be one of the worst seasons of your life. My case was complicated by custody issues, abuse allegations and my own health issues. I was given realistic expectations at the initial consultation. Everyone Mr. Reynolds employs knows your case, so you never feel left hanging. I was kept up to date as things progressed. What sets Bud apart from other divorce lawyers include his wide knowledge of the law, his calm litigation experience, and his ability to give you the proper advice. Advice you can trust. He is a brilliant man and you may not realize it until well into your case because he is soft spoken. Don’t be fooled. He will protect you, your children and your interests very well.

I am an attorney practicing primarily in high conflict divorce and custody litigation. When I had the unfortuntate life experience of going through my own difficult divorce, I immediately remembered the Abraham Lincoln quote "Anyone who represents himself has a fool for a client." Although I am an expert in family law, I knew that my own emotions would prevent me from representing myself well. I chose Bud to represent me because 1) I've had many cases against him and he is a worthy opponent 2) he knows the law 3) like me, he focuses on applying the law to the facts, not "tapping in" to his clients' emotions and billing fees on emotion driven but ineffective litigation strategies and 4) I know him as a friend outside of the law and I like his character. Although he is technically one of my "competitors", if I have a conflict that presents me from representing a potential client or I am contacted by someone getting divorced in Kansas (I am not licensed in Kansas), I refer him or her to Bud.

I remember sitting down in Bud's office as I was just about to go through one of the most difficult periods of my life. As a dad with 2 young kids, I was nervous and under a great deal of stress and anxiety as to how this was all going to go.
