I could not afford to accrue any points against my license at the risk of missing out on any vocational driving prospects I may have. As time went on after receiving a citation (when I was out of town) for "failure to obey traffic signal device", I made what could have been a costly mistake by failing to appear in court. My citation was then in warrant phase with the notion that my license could be suspended. I spoke with 5 different attorneys, who deal with traffic citations, from different offices around the KC area. . .
