I hired Patrick Coyne to represent my girlfriend in February 2016 for a simple probation violation. She was trying to be assessed and accepted into DUI Court, which I explained to Patrick before I paid him the retainer fee. Patrick specifically stated that he could 100% get her accepted into drug court and that he was close friends with the prosecuting attorney in Warren County's DUI Court program, so it would be a "slam dunk", thats what Patricks words were at least. Immediately after paying him a $2,000 retainer fee, it was virtually impossible to get ahold of him through phone or email. He refused to answer any and all questions I had regarding the case, took absolutely no action to get her into DUI court, failed to appear for the first 2 court appearances, acted as if he didn't have time for her and just plain screwed her over in so many ways. After Patrick finally decided to show up to the 3rd court appearance, he immediately informed her that the prosecuting attorney didn't want to let her into DUI court and that was the final answer. My girlfriend matches every single eligibility requirement for DUI Court, she is the ideal candidate for DUI court because her conviction was alcohol related as well as the probation violation. She is a non-violent offender with no prior prison commitments and has a specific and persistent issue with drug and alcohol abuse. DUI courts eligibility criteria literally says that a person with chronic alcohol/drug abuse issues, is a non violent offender and has convictions relating to drug or alcohol abuse, is the ideal candidate for the program. Patrick was extremely unprofessional in the manner he handled the case from the beginning. The day of my probation violation hearing, Patrick decided to arrive at the courthouse 1 hour late. My girlfriend wasn't afforded the right to consult with Patrick before her case was called and he explained absolutely nothing to her about what exactly was taking place. My girlfriend was sentenced to a 7 year prison sentence and to be remanded into the custody of the Missouri DOC. Disturbing to say the least. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! HE IS A COMPLETE JOKE AND WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH NOTHING BUT INEFFECTIVE LEGAL COUNSEL! HE IS NOTHING MORE THAN A COMMON THIEF!

IVE USED PATRICKS SERVICES SINCE 1997 AND ALL THREE OF HIS ASSISTANTS AND HIM ARE TOP NOTCH! AND EVERYONE WHO I RECOMMEND HAS HAD EXCELLENT SERVICE. HE IS CONNECTED WITH THE D.A. OFFICE AND WORKS HIS CASES LIKE NO OTHER ATTORNEY IVE DELT WITH. WHETHER ITS CRIMINAL OR CIVIL THEY GET IT DONE. JIMMY

Patrick really knows how the system works. He's a great guy and has sympathy for his clients. He's also very affordable. I would most certainly use him again.

I have used Patrick's office numerous times in the past 8 years. He has taken care of the needs of all my family and friends. His prices are fair and always took care of things within the time frame.
