This attorney is candid, skillful, and efficient. He will not waste your time and he will not 'sugar coat' what you need to know. That is great.

Mr. markwell is excellent he is very professional organized and very reliable I am almost fnished with my chaper 7 and just still having questions he is always able to still answer. The rate of charge was perfect because i know a cheap lawyer wouldnt do no where as near the amount of work he does and hes nearby. Just see for your self.

I hired this guy to do some work for my father and I and cannot describe how disappointed we were with the results. Mr. Watkins and his firm represent the whole reason I hate dealing with law firms, he took allot of our money with absolutely no results. Take my word--do not hire this guy!!! He is an ass....

Mr. Markwell is by far the best attorney that I have ever had. From day 1, he made me feel comfortable, relaxed & helped me to see everything was going to be fine. He is a very easy going guy- if he's working for you... if not, watch out. I could call or email him at any hour of the day, and he would get back to me within hours. He explained things to me, so I could understand & we never ended a conversation unless he was sure I had all my questions answered. If you are looking for an amazing lawyer- I recommend Guss Markwell, a 110%. He goes above and beyond for his clients.

Mr. Markwell was wonderful to work with. He answered all my questions and some I didn't think to ask. He answered or returned calls and emails in a timely manner. What really made a big impact on me was on court day he really helped me feel calm when it was my turn for review.

Met one time with Michael Watkins for initial consult. I can't vouch for Mr Watkins skill as lawyer because I did not hire him...I did not hire him because he is an unmitigated ass. Watkins certainly loves the sound of his own voice. Proceed at your own risk.

Michael assisted us in our estate planning and he was great! Took time to explain various options in estate planning in language we could easily understand. We were treated with courtesy and respect and answered all our questions. We are currently using him on another legal issue and once again he has been great! I was disgusted and appalled at the way this attorney speaks to his clients. He is completely disrespectful, rude, belittling, demeaning, overbearing, inconsiderate, incompetent, negligent and exceptionally two-faced. This is a pattern with him -- not a one time occurrence of a person having a bad day. The footer at the end of his invoice says "Trusting God -- Impacting Lives -- Building Dreams". I almost threw up when I read it. It should say "Yelling at Clients -- Ruining Lives -- Crumbling Dreams". I feel sorry for his paralegal Jessica.

Wow, all I can say is that the other reviewer here hit my opinion right on the head! I wish I would have read this before going to him. Mr. Watkins is frankly a complete jerk. He is rude, obnoxious, and arrogant. I went to him because he is close to my office and I thought it was a simple case (a name change), but boy do I wish I would have gone somewhere else. He called a meeting with me just before we went to court, and when I got to his office he said to me "well I guess you needed to see me because you don't know how to act in court". Umm...WTF. YOU called this meeting, not me! He refused to acknowledge this and then went on to tell me that I should dress 'appropriately' for a female, not like I am going to a club. I am a general manager of a hotel and every time I saw this man I was in a business suit - why on Earth would he suggest that I would dress any other way for court?? When we got to court, it turned out that he did not have the proper documentation, so after spending an entire day away from the office we had to leave court empty handed and reschedule for a month later. And he had the nerve to charge me $300 for returning to court for a mistake that HE made!! I won't go in to everything else, but I can direct you to the other review here because it is exactly correct. Mr. Watkins has absolutely zero social skills and it is appalling that he runs his business this way. The one good thing that I can say is that the girl that works in his office, Jessica, is a complete doll and was very helpful and empathetic through the entire process. She deserves much better treatment than what she gets working for this jerk.

Mr. Markwell is awesome. Very knowledable, professional, and attentative to details. I highly recommend him for all your legal needs. He definitely helped me alot.

I feel confident working with Guss Markwell. I know he is an honest attorney, who will have my back in any case. His focus is the best interest for his client and will not steer away from getting the best outcome for that client.
