Wonderful to work with.

I should have known better, and gone to court myself. I paid him $1000 to help me with a paraphernalia charge, he convinced me he knew judges down there etc., so he slipped me this $1000 contract that I feel like was a complete trap... that I fell for, sure. Still. I told him I was a student trying to pay for college and I didn't have any money. He said "You have a credit card don't you?". Then he convinced me to sign. He never even showed up to court with me. He sent someone else I had never met, who just repeated to me what the judge told me anyway! There was absolutely no service that was provided to me. I spent 2 years of my college life having to drive 4 hours round trip every 3rd Thursday to meet my probation officer and possibly take a UA. 2 years probation for being pulled over in a friend's car with a cannabis pipe. Moral of the story, I literally paid for nothing, and this guy knew it the entire time. It felt a lot like he tricked me into thinking 1) I needed him and 2) that he would help me; yet it turns out neither of those were true. That $1000 was a lot to someone trying to get through school like I was. He could have actually chosen to help me, or tried to do SOMETHING. Or once it was understood that he was absolutely not needed, given me back half of my money. Instead, the only time I ever saw him was that first time I walked into the office, and he handed me that contract. I know he didn't HAVE to accept a discounted rate for not having to do anything, but this guy was a shark, and took the money and ran calling me a sucker on the way out. As if he was teaching me a lesson: to not trust people like him. A lesson I paid $1000 of debt to learn. He might be great if you're trying to use a lawyer to get money out of someone confidently, or convince someone to sign a contract, but avoid him if you can for any blue collar offenses or anything worth under $20,000, cause $1000 won't even get him to SHOW UP.
