Uncommunicative, lazy, and sloppy—these are three characteristics you absolutely do not want in your legal representation. Learning this was my only positive takeaway from watching Mandel & Mandel do nothing and show up late and unprepared for meetings (for nearly two years). More than a year and a half after engaging Michael Kelley, we were set to have our first deposition, except they still weren't sure who to sue. Then, the office completely failed to notify me at all of the second depo until hours before, on the day it was to occur. The third deposition attempt I showed up only to hear they didn't enough financial documents, and doubts about some case law involving liability. I'd emailed the financial information they asked for and never received a reply, and several months passed in which they could have asked for any addition information they needed. It was beyond disappointing to watch them carelessly trudge along with my case. Find yourself an attorney that loves to work.
