Con man mark hammer charged me 1200 to represent me which was fine he said 5500 if we was to go to trail. I paid him the 5500 in case we went to trail. However we didn't go to trail because i pled guilty. I ask him and his wife for the 5500 back they said i wouldn't get that back because of there time and they would send me list of expensives which they never did. The 1200 i paid them was for all the continuous that they kept gettn me... Back to trail money they never sent me list of anything just 2000 back of the 5500.I worked hard for that money that they riped me out of all together 6700 just to plea guilty I was con. Be aware you guys

I would like to state first, that I believe life is basically good.However,there are times when hope and desperation become the only back-up plans to avail of themselves in difficult situations when circumstances become impossible to manage and our own understanding fails us. Two years ago my family was in turmoil, our relationship to one another almost severed, finances were dwindling...the horror of a teenage opiod abuser had befallen our youngest. An incomparable loss was settling into our lives as a young, bright and sensitive child slid into the darkness that is reserved for a heroin addict and their family. After a year of treatment things were only getting worse ( if that were possible )and felony charges for possession and theft began to accumulate, bringing with them an inexplicable helplessness which I had not experienced before or since. The stress was taking an enormous toll on my wife and myself...I cannot imagine what the agony my son was experiencing. After searching online for days, I could not separate one law firm from another, they all professed to be the one to call amid glowing ratings...I had to choose. Enter Mark Hammer and his associates. He is a gentleman, exudes confidence and relieves stress with his truth...and this was all within the first five minutes of our initial consult. After a thorough review, Mark began to address every legal issue confronting our son, he had already done his homework, which began to bring sanity back into our family as we sat there. At that time our son was facing years in prison, he is now recovering, on probation and living in a residence...drug free for five months. My family is healing, my son is healing. Mark Hammer a Saint Louis Attorney,, is both a theif and a liar. He completely fits the stereotypical shyster lawyer. I hired him in 2016 to try and get a reduction in sentence for my Brother who is serving 2 conservative life sentences for something he did not do. I live way out of State. He quoted me $5,000 to investigate, $12,000 if he thinks he can get him out. After giving him the $17,000 he said he needed $2,000 for an investigator which I immediately sent. That was early 2016, It was the end of 2016 before even talked with my brother, come spring of 2018 he still hadn't done anything, and then tells me they found out, 2 years later, that because of the nature of his cinviction, he is not eligible for a reduction in sentence. Then to try and justify the money they're said they were going to right a letter requesting clemency. My brothers in prison on sex-related charges no Governor in the world's going to give him clemency. I filed a complaint with the Missouri OCDC Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel complaining that Mark Hammer was not returning $12,000 dollars. In Mark shyster Hammers response he came up with all this bogus list of names , none of which we never even heard of. Again to justify all that money, On the phone he lied straight to my face. Said he had a hundred twenty five hours in. Hadn't filed one paper and every single time he went to talk to my brother in person, which was four times, he told my brother and I that they would be talking to him when they had other business in Jefferson City. But on the phone when I was arguing with him to return my money, He said that he went to Jefferson City specifically to see my brother which was a lie to Bill me more money. Then when I received this response from the OCDC, he claimed that he quoted me $25,000 to work the case at $350 an hour. I would never hire a lawyer for that kind of money it's ridiculous, he's a liar. He also lied to OCDC that I hired him for new evedence to prove innocence but there is no new evedence , what evedence, it was a reduction in sentence , period.... This is a horrible human, and liar and thief. My reply to OCDC will be he is lying which will just be a "he said she said." So,,,,,, don't use this lawyer, he's a shyster. I WILL GLADLY TAKE A LIE DETECTOR TEST TO PROVE I'M TELLING THE TRUTH
