Matthew Pool took over my dissolution case and did an excellent job. Overall I am very pleased with how the case was handled. He was very responsive and I feel like he helped me feel comfortable with each step of the process. Just be aware that the deposit/retainer is expected to be refilled as it is billed.

Very patient

I called in to ask if the firm was a participant in a legal insurance program that I have through work, and to ask if Civil Litigation was one of their practice areas. The secretary transferred me to Mr. Coughlin, who asked for details about my case in order to answer those questions. After a brief overview, he said that Civil Lit was one of their practice areas, but was not sure if they accepted my legal insurance. Jump forward a month later - I get a bill for the call. I call the office to get clarity, because those two questions should be reasonably answered without cost (each time had to leave a message). After weeks without a call back, I get a strongly worded letter stating that since I didn't pay, they were not going to represent me....which was okay since I never hired them. If you're considering this firm, go ahead and hand them a blank stack of checks first.

Noel Sevastianos is very knowledgeable, courteous, understanding, detailed, and quick to return phone calls. I have nothing but good words and the utmost respect and appreciation for the hard work, Noel did for me on an accident case years ago. He was quick to keep me updated on my case, and always asked if I had any more surgeries or doctor appointments scheduled and to keep him informed on them. He was able to settle my case quickly with no issues. I will definitely recommend Noel to anyone that is in need of a personal injury lawyer without hesitation! Thank you for all you did for me!

Worst decision I made. Stay far away from this firm. They will drain your funds. They will nickle and dime you for everything. Charge you for resending them previously sent information. RICHARD HARPER is a team lead and is incompetent. I guess I am also as he swindled me out of nearly 30k in a year while doing minimal work on my divorce case. He missed conference calls and. Played it off with fancy words and lots of ambiguity. If you value your money stay away from this firm and Richard Harper. They will waste your time and your money and not resolve any of your issues. Worst decision I have made.

Joe Bante is a great lawyer he is always available easy to talk to works with you on prices he’s very reasonable I wish I would’ve kept him as my lawyer for my custody case trying to get my daughter back from her dad whom mind you has never had a thing to do with his child her entire life ...sad.... Unfortunately this was the first time I had ever done anything like this and I left Joe and got another lawyer at Haffener Law firm Flat rate divorces BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!!!! Joe will answer for you day or night he answered every question I had was very emotionally involved which makes you feel great being that your dealing with the most important thing in your life “your child” If I could go back In time I would’ve kept Joe bante 100 percent he’s great 😊 he makes you feel at ease he gets things done he is always available and always gives you great advice he tells you what to expect and keeps you very much so informed I’m telling you Joe Bante is a GREAT LAWYER!!!!!!!! I originally met with James Ahearn at the Clayton office for my consultation. I was very impressed with James and happy with that meeting, however James was not assigned my case. Instead I was assigned to Craig Goza in the Ellisville office, 45 minutes away from where I live. While Craig has been very passionate and supportive of me and my family goals, I have been disappointed with the process. It took close to 3 months for my initial motion to be filed. During that time and since then, a lot of expensive research and consulting has been done, but we just now have possible steps to get me towards a settlement, seven months and tens of thousands of dollars later. We're closing in on a year with nothing resolved, so this review is subject to change. Update 02/28/21: Assigned a new attorney and worse off than I was before. 18 months into this.
