30 years ago I was court-martialed and convicted of a sex offense. Fast forward to last year, I was working and was arrested for being in a park near a playground. I reached out to an attorney with whom I’d worked with prior but felt that I needed to look around. I’m glad I did. I found Joe Flees on a Google search and reached out. I met with him and explained my situation. We connected immediately. He clearly explained the process and put my immediate fears to rest. I don’t even know where to start, I’m so amazed. I was facing 20 to life sentence. And just got sentenced 5yrs which is the lowest anyone has ever got for a organizer. Joe ALWAYS took time to explain every little thing when going through my case. And let me tell you I’m not the easiest person when it comes it understanding all that law talk but he always took the time to break it down and makes sure I understood every part. I was acquired of rape and charged in February 2020. I never rape anyone and stood to my truth. All the stress of the case for 2 years Joe always answered no matter what tike was just to talk to keep me cool. I wanted to kill myself because of how this made me look and Joe kept me wanting to push forward. Joe told me from day one he knew we would win because he believed I was being wronged and wanted to do all he could to fix it. He fought every inch. Case needed up going to trail where I was more scared my life was over. I couldn't take a deal knowing I never raped anyone but was facing life for 1st degree statutory rape. We fought the long fight and in the end got a not guilty 2 days ago after 2 years of fighting. Joe, Brian, and Jen all worked on my case and was all there at the end when verdict was read. NOT GUILTY!!!! I can bow start back building my life because of them. Would hired them again in a minute uf needed but hope to never need them again. Joe like family now.
