After interviewing with multiple lawyers, I made the decision to move forward with Susan. She was always accessable when trouble came up before everything was finalized. She is very straight forward and does not try to sugarcoat anything, which I appreciate. Typically the cards are stacked against the working father. My number one priority was keeping at least 50% custody and my home. We were successful in both. Susan was able to help me maintain quality of life and have 50% custody. I would highly recommend that before anyone make a decision on a lawyer, make sure to interview Susan.

Sue secured payment from a trucking company after their multi-ton truck cracked our driveway while unloading roofing material. My husband has Alzheimer's and can no longer take care of his affairs. Susan helped me petition the Court to be appointed as guardian and conservator for my husband. It has been a very stressful time and Susan helped me get through the entire process. She helped me with the paperwork and even personally made a trip to the doctor's office to pick up his notarized statement that had to be filed with the Court. I came to Susan after a very frustrating experience with a different divorce attorney. She did more in the first 30 days than my prior attorney had done in over 4 months. She never spoke badly of my prior attorney but merely pointed out things that should have been done that hadn't been taken care of. She was (and is) very good at timely replies including handling situations 'after hours' rather than waiting until the next day. I would (and have) highly recommend Susan. I first hired Susan in 2009 and am working with her again. If you're in the unfortunate situation of needing a lawyer, Susan is by far your best choice. She's able to get your desired results because she's very-very smart; she's not tricky, not a bully, she doesn't have to resort to that. She stays on top of everything, so nothing falls through the cracks and on top of that, she's able to ease your mind throughout the stressful parts, which is pretty much all of it.
