I had a friend recommend her office to me. I was scheduled for a phone consultation. Which was ok. I asked the assistant if they needed me to send my papers over for review before my phone call. She said no I have everything we need. I had the phone consultation, Melissa only had the petition to review and no other papers. I was very upset at this point. I feel as though I was not taken seriously and did not have her full attention during our call. I also am concerned she suggested she is friends with the other attorney and would not fight for my rights. I also felt like she thought I was uneducated and she felt the need to talk down to me. Needless to say I am going with another office.

Melissa is a great lawyer. Very kind and friendly to her clients, but straight to the point and a "don't mess with me attitude" in the court room. As much as I would love to recommend Melissa as a family law attorney, I actually highly do NOT recommend wasting your money. Her paralegal Lisa is TERRIBLE at her job. I wasted hundreds of dollars on back and forth emails and half answered questions. If she would get better office staff, my review would dramatically change. Don't waste your time or your money with this law office!!!!

My case was unusual. Not your standard. In fact, a case like it had never been seen in the STL court system before. That did not stop Mr. Terry from accepting my case, doing an outstanding job in bring it to a successful conclusion. I live in another state. Worked the case for over two years. Then we contacted Mr. Terry. Mr. Terry was quick to assess the situation. Understood the entire scope of the case, the personalities involved. He is versatile in formulating a plan of action. Once he determined our position, he exhibited strong negotiating skills. Not backing down from our position. Brought the case to a fair and reasonable conclusion. It was important to me he work closely with my out of state lawyer. Which he did very well. I have a background in DOD contracting. I see qualities in Mr. Terry that you do not often find. He is an outstanding lawyer. I feel his fees are reasonable for the quality of work provided. I highly recommend him.

Sylvia has great experience handling family law cases and her work ethic is unmatched. She always has yours and your children’s(if the case) best interest. She will do everything possible, within the law, to get you the best resolution for your case

David met with me and had a couple phone conversations before the meter even started running. He clearly stated what he could and could not do in my case. I put down a deposit of which I received a partial refund even after telling him to keep it because he deserved and earned it. My issue was a 15 year old problem, potentially $35,000 that he made go away within three weeks from meeting him and at less than a fifth of the amount. He quickly responded to texts, calls, questions and setting up meetings. I will be strongly recommending him to others. Very nice gentleman on top of it.

I thought David did an excellent job on my moms case. He was very personable, stayed in touch with me and my siblings and was straight forward with us. Our dad was the one who hired David, and even though dad wasn't with us long afterwards, he really liked David and spoke highly of him. I recommend David 110% if you are needing an attorney. I feel like he showed more "heart" than any attorney I've dealt with in my time and I am thankful for that. Lawsuits can't fix broken hearts but David was kind and was always readily available for us when we needed him.
