He charges money for things that never get taken care of, takes his time getting my papers back to me so I can be done with my divorce so he can keep charging me for stuff I never see. Very bad at keeping track of your case.

He always seemed to busy to talk or help through the divorce, didn’t have a problem billing us, almost seemed like he worked for the other side. Always giving two different options different days. Very sad that a supposed too attorney takes on to many clients that he can’t handle helping them the way they need.

Kevin was amazing! I had a marathon divorce and Kevin handled everything with grace and professionalism. I can not praise him enough.

Kevin recently handled my very complicated adoption case. He did excellent work and achieved a very positive result for my family (the adoption was recently finalized!). Kevin has great relationships and years of experience at the local courts that allowed him to cut through red tape and save me time and money. In addition to being responsive, knowledgeable, and a diligent attorney, he is a kind person who really cared about my case. He treated everyone involved with respect and courtesy. I highly recommend him.

Mr.Lake is the only attorney in Clayton I would ever consider hiring. He is kind, and caring yet brilliant and tough in his handling of my cases over the years. These rare qualities he displays are genuine, not an attempt to obtain business. His staff make me feel like I am a friend not just a client. I never have any doubts this practice will continue to prosper and always take special attention to any legal needs I may need. I used Kevin Lake's services during my divorce 3 years ago and I am so grateful that I did. He made sure I knew the different options I had and would recommend what ones he thought I should take and would explain clearly why he was recommending something, but he always left the decision up to me. I never felt bullied or forced into anything. And speaking of bullying he really stood up to my ex-husband and would not be pushed around by him. Kevin was very supportive and always responded when I needed some advice during that rough time. I highly recommend him!
