My wife and I hired Jonathan to represent us in an interstate custody case. Jonathan has and continues to impress us with his remarkable knowledge of family law, his ability to make informed and compassionate recommendations, and excellent legal representation in court. I've heard others say he is one of the best family lawyers in Missouri and I have to agree. In addition to that he is a really nice guy. I would highly recommend his firm to anyone.

Stop ! Please take a moment to read my review of Jonathan and my experience with him and his law firm. As I approach the anniversary date of my personal introduction to both family law and Jonathan Marks. I sincerely hope that someone in needs finds comfort in my review and the many other positive reviews that others have given. If you’ve come this far chances are you probably googled “best St. Louis divorce attorney” but what does that mean? First and foremost, Jonathan is an excellent if not the best in his field and provides his clients with first class representation, but he is not your therapist, a grief counselor, or a life coach. His sole purpose is to navigate whatever legal nightmare or mess you have in front of you, but make no mistake. There is nothing quick or fair (in my opinion ) about entering into the family legal arena. Secondly are his fee, Yes he’s expensive BUT I can promise you he is not looking to find extra work on your case. There is NO frivolous billing going on here. If the hours were billed your case you needed it. You are actively going to be working with Jonathan on your case, he’s not going to pawn you off to associates to find billable hours on. Thirdly, would be results. He cannot make your problems go away like magic, but he can navigate you to the best possible outcome. If you’re looking for an attorney to saber, rattle and bully people around just because, this is not your guy. Jonathan gives tremendous respect, but also demands it, which is why I feel he’s so effective. My personal journey was a very rocky one to say the least it was full of conflict and non stop bullying from the other party. I can’t begin to tell you how pleased I was in the moment, but more, so, after the fact upon reflection of how he was able to thread the needle through all of that nonsense to get me to the goal, with a more than favorable result to me. I could go on and on but at the end of the day thank you Jonathan for not only taking on my case when the cards didn’t seems in my favor but providing me exactly with what I needed

I worked with Jonathan Marks twice in the past 5 years. Each time, I presented the issue I was faced with and each time him and his team helped resolved that issue in my favor. Even though I believe I should have gotten the decisions in my favor, sometimes you need the right person, saying the right thing, in the right way, at the right time. The Marks Law Firm was that for me. I am sure I will need him again in the future even though I hope I don't have a reason to go back to family.

Johnathan Marks and Amy Bender-Levy did a masterful job during my recent stepchild adoption. I was well informed during the entire process and they were extremely approachable. Johnathan always seems to be available no matter what time I reach out and always replies back very quickly.
