Jonathan has helped me repeatedly understand the complicated laws and, from my perspective, often subjective rulings of family law. He understood that I did not have an unlimited budget and would let me know when additional negotiation on a topic would cost more than accepting the terms. Several times I had stated my terms or expectations and he would tell me that we can submit those terms, but the resolution will be "X". Then I'd say "well, aren't we supposed to negotiate at the opposite end so we meet in the middle" and he'd state, I'm paraphrasing, that's a waste of time. He brought a no nonsense perspective to every discussion, never over-promised, and was always respectful and understanding of my perspective. He thoroughly understands family law and is excellent at understanding and predicting the courts ruling, which helped to prepare me when my expectations were high and calm me when opposing negotiations were outlandish. I hope to not need Jonathan's services, but I'm always glad he's there when I am in need.
