Awful business. Took my money and after over a year and being moved attorneys in the firm due to him having too high of case load.
I finally got a court date only for them to drop me a month prior to my court date without notice, due to not being available, but they are still able to take other clients.

I went to Joshua Roberts for an easement issue. He started out confident that it could be resolved. As time went on it became clear that he didn't completely know what he was doing. I went against my better judgment on certain things because I thought he knew better. It ended up costing me over $4,000 and 6 months of my time to achieve absolutely nothing. He was very good at running up a bill, especially towards the end.

There isn’t enough words I can ride to describe how amazing Kevin and Rachel and this law firm has been! We had one of the most unique and chaotic cases and Kevin and Rachel did a tremendous and exceptional job. They were not only perfect with communication and keeping us updated but they were sympathetic and understanding and always made us feel important. Do not go anywhere else for any custody battles Or divorce! Thank you guys much love!

Horrible Divorce Lawyers --YOU Contact Your Ex??
This one's a doozy. My ex-husband hired this team 2 years ago for our divorce. Our divorce was finalized last year. But yesterday, my ex contacts me ON BEHALF of his legal team, asking me to come in and sign some property paperwork that was missed. I tell him, that's fine if I know what it's about, but YIKES! Talk about dropping the ball for your client on multiple levels. First of all, my ex and I are on decent terms, but that doesn't mean I want to hear from him a year after we're officially done! Also, I accidentally still own property he doesn't want me to have because they messed something up on their end? If I were a difficult person, I'd force them to drag me to court over this mishap. Fortunately for them, I only like racking up good karma...
The icing on the cake is the rude, obnoxious staff that answered the phone when I called to set up the signature transfer. I was immediately treated like trash over the phone just for asking a question. It was borderline verbal abuse, all because I'm the exwife of their client. Talk about sewing bad blood where there is none.
Anyone who knows me personally, knows I'm one of the sweetest most reasonable people to communicate with, but this legal team has pushed me to my limit and they aren't even mine!
I can't imagine the stress of being told to contact your ex because of property paperwork that was missed in the initial litigation. Also, what is he paying them for if they can't even make a phone call to arrange a signature on paperwork that should have been processed correctly the FIRST time around?
Fair warning, avoid them at all costs. Unless you want to turn an amicable divorce into a malicious one, because you'll both equally hate Roberts and Easley.

Family member used her firm and was dropped without warning after the client requesting a GAL change due to not being able to afford the one appointed. Shelly gave no warning, no legal guidance or advice, just dropped the client right as the case is set to go to trial and simply said "you will need to find new counsel,. The client even apologized and requested her to reconsider her decision. Request was denied with no further explanation or guidance. Client has always made payments and kept in communication with Shelly's firm on any major information and always sought her legal guidance when an issue arose. I reconsidered using Shelly based off of witnessing this experience. I do not think it was handled professionally at all.
