Lance Drury and his staff are true professionals. We received a bill from the IRS for $17,000+. My wife turned it over to what she thought was a local Tax attorney who charged us $1000 up front and then $400/mo after that. The only communication from them was the monthly bill which came from Delaware. After 6 months and another $2800 we canceled the service and hired Lance Drury and we settled with the IRS for $5000+. The Drury staff in beautiful downtown Ste.Genevieve were extremely cordial and efficient. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lance and his staff. I just wish I had done it much sooner.

Lance was easy to work with but high pressure to pay up front. It turned out I did not owe the IRS after having my taxes reviewed by another accountant. By the time we realized the error I had already paid Lance $5500. I initiated services with Lance on 11/25/20 and he completed the Power of Attorney and Engagement Letter with me. We had several correspondences regarding payments following the initial meeting. I notified him of the accountant error on 2/16/2021 and he refunded me $3000.00 but kept $2500 for completing a Power of Attorney and Engagement Letter. I could understand keeping this amount if I was dissatisfied with his services etc but there was a huge accountant error that another accountant discovered. Completing and submitting the Power of Attorney letter and calling me several times after to collect more money was definitely not worth $2500. I could see keeping $500 but $2500 was asinine. I would not recommend. Very high pressure to pay up front before doing any work. Lance called shortly after this review to discuss refunding some of my money. I have tried to reach out to him several times via email but have not received a response. My tax issue has now been resolved as I never owed any money to the IRS.

I have had IRS debt hanging over me for years. Letters constantly coming and knowing I did not have the money to address debt I had incurred through a divorce - was overwhelming. I am so grateful that Lance and his team have helped me! They are always on top of any issues that came up, gave me excellent guidance and responded to my questions immediately. I highly recommend this Law Firm - they are experts in tax issues.

It was truly a blessing that God lead us and our tax problems to Lance Drury. My husband had no problem sleeping at night, but I did. I would toss and turn and wake up off and on all night. I did that for several years and Lance took our problems, negotiated with the IRS and stretched our payments out to be consistent monthly. No problems keeping me up at night now...And I would recommend Lance to anyone..
