Reached out to him for legal advice about a concern in my work place and he just stopped responding to me. This is very unprofessional and a waste of my time. I would have appreciated an answer good or bad!

Fantastic work! Professional and Efficient

While Mr. Kallen's advice is excellent, his billing practices are unscrupulous. We called his office and asked for the remainder of our retainer fee ($2500!) back. His office, including his paralegal Joe, promised to get us a bill within a couple days. Three days later, he said it would be emailed within hours. The next phone calls predictably went to voicemail. We called nearly ten times over the course of a week and a half and have yet to receive a bill, to say nothing about the roughly $2000 he still owes us!!!

Great lawyer! Easy to talk to and actually listens. Also gets straight to the point, honest and doesn’t waste anyone’s time. Highly recommend James B. Day!

Mr. Day was very helpful in preparing us for our bankruptcy. He was very thorough in making sure we understood everything as we went through the process. From day one he treated us like we had been friends forever. Always got back to us, even on weekends and some late evenings. We highly recommend Mr. Day.

We retained Craig's services ($2500!!) and ended up buying an hour of his time for 200. He also wrote a formal letter on our behalf. Months passed, and we no longer needed a trial, so we have asked for the remainder of the retainer fee back to us. Here's where the trouble begins... Craig's office made promises that they would get back to us with a bill for services rendered. It still hasn't happened. We have called at least 8 times and received various promises, but no actual bills. I NEED MY MONEY BACK! We have around $2000 sitting there in his office not doing anything for us! To be fair, Craig seemed knowledgeable at the time, but I am regretting my choices at this moment.

I mistakingly hired Craig to represent me in my marriage dissolution. His whole 'I wrote a book about keeping lawyer fees down' is a joke. There was very little movement with my case for 4 months but he kept collecting money from me. Very seldom would I get a direct answer from him. His explanation for what to expect next or what my next step should be was never clear. He kept using the phrase 'shoot for the moon' even though I was telling him I didn't want to draw this out or soak my soon-to-be ex for all he has but he wouldnt listen to that. He knew exactly how unhappy I was with his lack of follow through. If separating from your spouse and filing for divorce isn't chaotic enough, having a lawyer like him made things 10x worse for me. I would never recommend him to anyone. Please do yourself a favor, shop around, take advantage of the free consultations that most lawyers offer and stay away from Craig Kallen. I spent 45 minutes with my new lawyer and accomplished more that I did with Craig in 4 months.

Chris has been amazing helping us establish our trust. We had tons of questions and concerns and he walked us thru all the details until we had a complete understanding of everything. While in the process my dad passed suddenly and he helped me on short notice figure out my dad's affairs.

Setting up and establishing a trust and estate plan can be fraught with many legal and investment gotchas and touches on who you are and how you want to live as well as what happens after you pass. It is important to work with someone who not only understands the legal and financial components of creating a trust and estate plan, but someone who is willing to take the time to understand who you are and guide you through all medical and relational components that go into it as well. Being aware of these components and then uniquely tailoring and explaining them so that the average individual can understand them takes a special person with a commitment to the individual one is serving. I spent a significant time interviewing multiple firms and hands down Christopher Cox provided the most in depth understanding, integrity, and commitment to my specific needs and the creation of a custom plan that addressed them. He made sure I understood the what was involved upfront prior to having to make a decision to go with him or not. Christopher spent the time to address complex issues with the necessary detail they required yet bereft of the legal parlance. While Christopher expertly guided me through the process I was able to make the knowledgeable decisions because I was able to understand the pros and cons of each option presented. The plan created, was tailored to me and my family's needs vs. tailoring me into a plan.

Chris was recommended to us by friends. He was professional, thorough, answered all of our questions and gave us excellent advice. We are completely satisfied with our new will and trust. We recommend him without reservation.
