Complete con artists and scammers ! I spent over $10,000 with this law firm to “prep” for trial for my divorce case I had initially started 5 or 6 YEARS ago that some how keeps getting dragged out. After having a payment agreement set up in writing and in email to pay my $9,000 bill after trial. Once trial ends I feel like that is a pretty normal balance I could have easily focused on paying off after court ended. WRONG! The law office filed a continuance in my case HOURS before the trial WITHOUT my knowledge . I contacted the law firm immediately asking why on case net my own attorney had filed a continuance in my case with out my knowledge. Obviously unnecessary continuance is for financial gain. I told them if they didn’t with draw the motion they filed in my case immediately and proceed with trial I would not continue to pay them and there is no reason not to have trial . They continue the case only to send a new bill demanding $17,000 on top of what I allready paid to “re prep” for trial that I had allready paid for. It was a never ending bill in this case with zero progress at all. The entire case I have the attorney had only filed one motion on my behalf which was never heard by the courts ever. Now I will be forced to self represent because all my money is tied up paying for loans and credit cards to prep for a trial this law firm never planned on representing. Also now that I have to self represent trial is a few weeks away and this law firm has completely ignored me will not return my phone call or email , they have my personal property all my evidence and paperwork for my case . All photos ,pay check stubs, police reports , ALL evidence in my case knowing I have trial and the office is REFUSING to give me my file so I can have my own property for trial and court. The office didn’t even offer my property knowing that it is NEEDED for court. This law firm intentionally leaving my case in poor standing and not returning my client file is stealing and unethical
