Mr. McKinney is an exceptional defense attorney as he has represented me on various cases over the last decade. He will tell you straight up, no "sugar coat." This attorney has not let me down, not once. Very reasonable if you show the effort. He always works with me and will suit my individual needs. He may across as "short" somebody once told me, make your point he listens to FACTS. Save your life story. Cold hard truth isn't always easy folks, I know. Mr. McKinney is quite direct, follow his advice and keep your communication and contact information up to date with him. Trust me I learned that mistake one time I forgot to give him my new phone number and address. He works with other attorneys in the Metro St. Louis area, always good, fair results. I recommend anybody looking for the best resolutions in his area of practice in Franklin County area to give Mr. McKinney a try. You won't be sorry, don't be a slacker, you would not want your time wasted if you work like he does. He is a one man operation yet is my first call and surprisingly he always answers and returns calls promptly. Can't say thank you enough.

Very unprofessional in the way of his client intake “system” I was searching for an attorney to revise my current custody agreement when I came across his law office on Google. I saw the 5 star rating & decided to call & feel it out. Wellll, I was pretty taken aback when the person answering the phone was the attorney himself. I hear wind & “this is (I think he said Rodney, not sure, I was surprised by the moment)” so after a brief pause of gathering my thoughts & thinking maybe I had the wrong number I said, “yes, are you accepting new clients” he said, “it depends on what you need” so I told him I wanted to revise my current custody agreement & he said, “I handle things like DUI” & a few other things that don’t pertain to me. So I said, “nope, that’s not me, thank you anyway, I appreciate your time” & the man simply hung up. Lol. I’m genuinely shocked by the lack of professionalism. He really should be ashamed of himself. Hire a secretary, no people skills. Seemed like a bully.

Great Attorney

He won my license suspension case and got the criminal case dismissed because he showed them that they couldn't prove I was over the limit.

Rodney helped me quickly. He was very understanding and very professional too. He was the best at helping me be able to afford his services, and it was all done and over with sooner than later. It was such a relief.
