My lawyer was ill prepared. He actually argued 3 times against my case that the judge noted. never submitted all my records and saw him once 2 weeks prior to my hearing. waste of time

The Para Legal I was assigned did most of the work, rarely spoke to an Attorney until it was time for the hearing. And even then I ended up having two different attorneys for the two hearings, one was a contracted-out Attorney, but he was really nice. It was rough going but the Para Legal Michelle tried really hard to make sure my case was ready. The only real issue I had was two days after I received my backpay, wasn't even showing completely cleared in my bank account, and the billing department was already calling me and tried insisting on a payment for paperwork over the phone, the part of the bill that the payment from SSA did not cover. I had to insist on mailing a check because I don't give my credit/debit card number over the phone.
