I've been trying to find a lawyer for about 6 months now, my home was stolen from us last Oct & the land owner kicked our door in & took everything we owned to the County landfill only three days after they made us leave our home we owned free & clear, we were only renting the land. We've desperately been trying to locate a lawyer who deals with landlord tenant legal issues but to no avail. This is the 3rd time this man has done this to other families, yet no one has filed charges against him. I've just recently written Hathaway Law Group an email giving the facts of the situation, I have not seen a response from anyone as of today. I don't know why it's been so hard to find representation, I am 100% positive we have a slam dunk winning case, everything that was done to us was completely illegal. We've been living in our truck since we lost our home, this is the second winter, and I'm at the end of my rope. I pray that someone hears my desperation and will help me get the justice we so rightly deserve. Will update the review as soon as I get a response. The website is easy to navigate, nicely arranged, without being intrusive or overwhelming.

I had to attend court ordered mediation for a parenting plan. They were pleasant and professional. Very knowledgeable and helpful. If I ever need any sort of mediation in the future I will choose Hathaway Law Group

Shannon Hathaway is an excellent attorney who is personable and advocates concisely and thoroughly for her clients both in and out of court. She is well-liked and respected by her peers and the judiciary and goes above and beyond to seek resolutions to problems that may arise. I have worked on many family/dependency cases with her over the years and, although our respective legal positions may not always align, she is never acrimonious or unprofessional. I recommend her wholeheartedly.

I am writing this review regarding Shannon Hathaway and her work as a guardian ad litem (GAL). I have worked with Shannon on many cases for numerous years. I am a LCSW who works with individuals, couples, and families. I have served many youth or young people who have benefited from Shannon’s services. Although, there are many good GALs in Missoula I always appreciate Shannon’s ability do her research, interview those important to the child, and take seriously the best interest of the youth. It is always pleasing knowing that one of the individuals I serve has Shannon as their GAL. I have only known Shannon to do thorough work, connect with all members of the youth’s family and care team. Shannon engages professionals surrounding any child to gain a better understanding of the child’s emotional and psychological capacity. GAL work is very challenging and taxing, and there are frequently many people who are affected by the result or the outcome of an evaluation. Is it comforting knowing that Shannon pays attention to detail, can listen, collaborate, and assess the best interest of those she is working with. As in any situation or custody case one side might not be as pleased as another but knowing children who have had Shannon, she has always delivered thoughtful consideration regarding her recommendations. Again, I appreciate when I work with youth who have Shannon representing them, knowing the child, family and their care team will be listened to, and their input will be a serious consideration in the overall evaluation summary.

I have used the Hathaway Law Group for Guardian ad Litem work around the State of Montana for a number of years now. I have always found their work to be thorough and considerate of both parents' needs and wishes, but most especially, I have always found them to take particular care in accurately presenting the best interests of the children involved.

I have worked with Shannon Hathaway on a CPS case on which I was the assigned CASA. It was a difficult case and Shannon was the child’s attorney. I found her to be thoughtful, a great advocate for the child and helpful in bringing the case to a successful conclusion. Shannon was a resource for the child and for others on the case. She met regularly with her client and was always available to answer her client’s questions. Shannon worked well with the rest of the team and often offered solutions. I hope I get to work with Shannon on other cases in the future.

Kelly and her staff are amazing. I've worked with several law groups over the past decade with my parenting situation and while all were good, my experience with Kelly has been exceptional. She's attentive, listens to the circumstances and understands the facts at hand. She is able to discern between the truth and when the situation is being manipulated by the other party. In several circumstances, she spent extra time and went out of her way to make sure that I was treated fairly when medical bills, my character, and the situation was misrepresented by the other party. She has alleviated my anxiety regarding the unfortunate situation and made my life easier and less stressful. I couldn't recommend her more.

Shannon and Kelly helped our family with estate planning and adoption/foster care needs. They are both professional, timely, and great to work with! They were both very knowledgeable in their individual expertise. They provided us with budget and expectations up front that were easy to manage and reasonable. We have recommended them to several friends and family members, and we will continue to recommend them highly to others.
