What a relief it was obtaining Sarah as a Attorney. You know right away she is on your side 100%. You can sleep well at night knowing she has your best interests at the forefront, and her representation will produce the outcome your looking for. I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended,worth every penny and then some.

Sarah was very good about explaining things pertaining to my case. She was very good about answering questions and preparing me for my court appearance. She listened without judgement and helped me prepare a good defense that eventually led to a good outcome. While waiting for a decision from the court she was very good about keeping me apprised of the status of the case. I would definitely recommend her to others.

I got a traffic ticket in Montana 6 months ago. I didn't want to have points as that violation would cost me the ticket payment with 5 points on my record. She listened every detail of my story and then provided all the necessary information, the consequences of the case and her legal advice. She always kept me updated before and after every hearing. At some point, basically after one of the last hearings I was ready to pay all the costs and to have the points. Eventually we have won the case. Ms. Lockwood is incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, professional and very dedicated attorney. I am truly pleased what she has done and cannot thank enough to her. I’m writing a few years after I hired Sarah, I’m sure there’s other good lawyers around, I’m sure other lawyers can do a good job for you but from a guy who was completely screwed and I mean completely screwed, Sarah took my case and got me an outcome I never thought possible. She is the best possible attorney you can hire. It’s been about 4 years since I hired her and I’m still amazed at how she played everything out, unbelievable, she is what anyone could ask for in a lawyer.

From consultation to resolution (dismissal without prejudice within two weeks of retainer) she remained professional, understanding, and resolute. Mrs. Lockwood is a skilled DUI defense attorney who worked diligently to reduce my sentence for a felony DUI. She listened to my side of things and offered calm feedback, which helped lesson the stress of dealing with impending jail time and treatment sentence. While on pretrial release, Sarah, assisted with obtaining a travel permit to see family out of state. Through status hearings and continuances I was able to save up enough money to support my wife and son for when I went away. She reviewed all angles of my DUI case and we decided that I didn't have a good chance of taking it to trial. As such, Sarah worked on a plea agreement with the prosecution and I was sentenced to 13 months DOC and 3 years probation, which included 6 months at the WATCh program and most of the remaining on conditional release and probation. This sentence was far less then the maximum possible sentence and I did not go to prison. After two and a half years from my release from WATCh I was facing revocation of my 3 years DOC suspended/probationary sentence. Sarah once again went to bat for me and after a year of court hearings, she helped to get my good time/street time counted toward the 3 year revocation, time served and continued probation! Sarah believes in upholding the law as it applies to police conduct and defending Constitutional Rights of people she represents. Sarah had the right amount of matter of fact attitude and grace to advocate on my behalf. I strongly recommend Mrs. Sarah Lockwood as a DUI defense attorney.

I hired Sarah for a DUI case. I was, basically, in an extremely bad situation. The disposition of my case was far, and I mean far better than I ever expected. Sarah is the real deal, she's very good at what she does. I'm sure there are other good DUI lawyers in Missoula, however I doubt any other one could have helped me as much as she did. She saved my ass big time, I honestly would have paid twice what she charged had I known the outcome. Ive never recommended anyone for anything more than I could recommend Sarah for a DUI case.
