First, they took time to really listen and thoroughly understand our personal and family situation, needs, wants, assets, etc. Secondly, they explained in an understandable manner the legal options available, the advantages of different approaches, and the potential tax savings. Next, they designed an optimal estate plan for us and explained clearly how it would work. Their analysis and recommendations were excellent and provided the peace of mind that comes with a thoughtful and well-crafted plan. Over the years they have informed us of tax law changes, then updated our plan accordingly or as needed by changes in our personal situation. I contacted this firm a little over a month ago to have a will done up. As a sole parent it was really important to me that my son would be taken care of if I were to pass. They quickly set an appointment and took their time going over everything without making me feel stupid for the questions I had. We were able to set up a second appointment pretty quickly so that it would be finalized as well. They have been fantastic to work with and great at addressing and calming my fears.
