Vanessa made one of the most stressful times of my life so much easier than I ever expected. She fought so hard for me and won custody my case! Her office staff are incredible and they returned my phone calls and emails usually within a few hours. I highly recommend Vanessa to anyone who wants an attorney that genuinely cares about you and your case/situation and who walks you through it every step of the way. You will NOT regret hiring her!

Vanessa was incredible in my custody battle! I hired her based on other reviews and I’m so glad I did. She listened to every concern or question I had and got back to me within the same day. This was probably the most stressful situation in my life but she walked me through every step, process and expectations throughout the entire case. She took so much stress off of me. We won the case and the judge didn’t Reward my ex anything he had asked for, she was just as ecstatic as I was when we got the news! Choosing a great attorney through such a stressful time is the last thing you should have to worry about. Vanessa is a great choice and will fight as hard as she can for you!!!

I had been through court years prior with a different lawyer, and things ended with me having every other weekend visits, so obviously our nerves were high during our initial consultation. However, Vanessa talked to my wife and I like we were human beings and that she wanted to help us. Vanessa and my family knew this was going to be a long, hard, and complicated fight, but she was ready for it and she made sure that we were ready also. Vanessa always gave us straight answers, especially to the hard questions. Hearings got continued multiple times and we had to keep taking the other side back to court. Status hearing after status hearing, trial date after trial date, Vanessa kept our hopes high for the 1.5 years that our custody battle lasted. Vanessa dealt with a lot, not only from the other side, but also from us. We took a lot out on her, whether it be frantic emails in the middle of the night or asking her to call us on the weekend but she always had a calm and empathetic demeanor. During hearings Vanessa always stayed very professional but also made sure to hit every hard point to make sure things went our way. Vanessa did a lot of her own digging and made sure to investigate the other party very thoroughly while also using any information I supplied. Vanessa was always available through email and she always responded very quickly. I know that she will always be there if we need her again. I wish my family would have chose her in the beginning of my custody fight 4 years ago. My child and I are eternally grateful for her services and I will always recommend Vanessa Gorden, she is priceless.

Disappointed after spending over $8,000 for divorce and custody. Update: they just posted their response after 4 years! Need I say more about this place? “They do NOT care!”

I chose this lawyer for my husband. I am the one to blame here. She put words in his mouth and did not follow through. Now the things that she did not follow through on are coming back to haunt us and she says she's finished representing him so she can't help him even though she billed us to do these things. Maybe for something simple she would do fine. Our situation was complicated and we are in much worse shape now after thousands of dollars on this lawyer. Edited to add— in the year 2020 This Review was four years ago! The children involved are adults now and with the help of a great lawyer, down the road, have been in our custody pretty much since I wrote this review. We are excellent. I hope you understand that at the time of my review things were really bad for the kids, so I was frustrated. My best wishes to you!
