I legit have court in the morning and I am not prepared. I asked my attorney (MARK BESTUL) to get a continuance and that I couldnt miss work for 90days and he emphatically said no! He said the judge wouldn't approve it as the initial order would be "halfway into the order." Ummm, what the hell does that even mean IF they can be granted from 1 year to 5? Nevermind my abuser (yes, it's DV) was granted a continuance to 1) LEAVE THE COUNTRY. Then, they 2) gave me the wrong address to the courthouse. Then, 3) it was reset for lack of time last week. I asked Mark this last week as getting all the necessary documents, etc would take some time AND I did not want to lose my job. I called and asked what I could do to escalate it for his boss to speak with him and was told I could file a grievance. Yes, a grievance that WOULD take weeks/months to resolve. I have court in the morning, less-than 1 weeks after the last court appearance that was reset by the judge. This is ridiculous. This is why people handle things their own way as doing it the "right/preferred" way gets you wholly ignored and minimized. I will end up dead and it'll be my fault that I didn't do what exactly? Report, file, comply??? He is a joke and this agency is a bigger joke. 😔

Honestly, I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for Matt and all of his team (Tara for taking all of my crazy calls). Going into my case I was a reck but they made this process as easy and fast as we could while being efficient. Will recommend to absolutely everyone who would be in need of their services. So thankful for everything!

Today I attended court with my attorney Cody Miltenberger….this man single-handedly saved my family and sent me home. I was facing a lot of time and due to the diligent work of Miltenberger Law Offices I was given a chance to keep living and achieving. Cody cares…he listens he works to understand and he will not beat around the bush ….so I’m tellin u take it from a man who lives in Missouri…in another state…..whose house just burned down……a man who’s wife and daughter where at risk while he defended their lives ….Mr. Miltenberger (lol as he hates to be called) is the best Attorney I have ever met…… if I ever need another A+++++ Attorney in Nebraska I’m only calling Miltenberger Law

In 3 days I had consultations with 20 different lawyers, looking for the best representation for my husband. I talked to Cody Miltenberger early on and was impressed. I continued to call every law office I could find, however Cody was clearly in a different league. My goal was not just to get to get my husband home permanently for myself, it was to make sure our 1 year old daughter never had another night separated from her father. 1 week after celebrating our 2 year anniversary my husband is officially home for good and kissing our daughter goodnight. I don’t know if this could have been possible without the work and attention Cody gave to our case. Cody is a different kind of person and a different kind of lawyer. If you’re facing life altering circumstances don’t make the mistake of obtaining the wrong counsel. Call his office and have a conversation with him. You won’t be able to hire anyone else afterwards. The difference will be self-evident.

I cannot stress enough how simple Cody made all of this for me. He walked me through it and assured me(often) that he had it all under control. Very professional, very courteous. I would highly recommend them any litigation needs.

I had someone do that to me And I did not feel like my information was safe at all. That is unprofessional. And she needs to be looked into.

There is a Representative by the name of Courtney Webster that works here & she uses Higgins law database for her own personal games. She looks up information on people who is not a client at this firm. From my experience, I wouldn't feel comfortable or safe, Using this law firm, knowing my information is not safe.
