Very professional, friendly, and meticulous!

WORST DIVORCE AND FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY in Omaha, Nebraska. John Kinney of Kinney Law PC, LLC will act as if he cares about your situation, but once you pay his "too good to be true" flat rate fee for representation, he won't do anything to advocate for you or your children, especially if you are a woman. If you are facing a custody dispute or a custody trial you will lose everything you deserve to gain, including your children. He is worthless as an attorney, and his staff is as well. He is nothing but a negligent, haughty, chauvinistic pig. PLEASE BE WARNED.

DONT BE A FOOL! John Kinney of Kinney Law, PC LLO, comes across as a genuine, kind, knowledgeable and experienced attorney. BUT! He is nothing of the sort. Thanks to him, I am now a divorced, single mother of four kids, who gets ZERO alimony, AND less than $250 for all four of my kids per month after being a stay at home mom for 80% of my married life to a staff Sargent in the U.S. Air Force!! He was unresponsive to my legitimate inquiries and concerns, whether I voiced them through email, phone, or in person. I could have represented myself 100 times better! He didn't even submit ANY OF THE EVIDENCE I PROVIDED TO HIM AND HIS STAFF TO DEFEND ME. He was nothing short of negligent while handling my case and if I didn't have my four kids, a full time job and a household to worry about keeping afloat I'd sue him for every penny he lost that should have been awarded to me and for every red cent I paid to him and his lousy staff for this "so-called representation" This man, and attorney is one who should not be trusted! If I could've given him a rating of zero, I would have.

Everyone I worked with at Kinney Law was professional, efficient, easy to work with, and communicate via email. I felt like they were able to handle the difficult things that I couldn't handle emotionally during the time of my divorce. They were very grounded and focused. I appreciated that they were upfront with costs and have a set amount for fees at different phases based on your case. John is very good at what he does! He is straight forward and extremely knowledgeable. He has experience and is confident in the courtroom, which helped ease my anxiety. He gave me sound advice and I was thankful to have him represent me during a tough time.

While looking to file for divorce in 2008, John Kinney came to my rescue. I spent several days calling different law offices, and Mr. Kinney was able to get me in for a consultation the very next day. My divorce filing and the proceeding was went very smooth and the I thank Mr. Kinney for his professionalism as he guided me through a major hurdle in my life. I have since referred several friends needing an attorney to Mr. Kinney, and I will continue to do so. He is great to work with. I would strongly recommend Kinney Law for Divorce purposes. I was faced with what turned out ot be a 40 month long case, with multiple trials, child custody, family business, Guardian Ad Litem involvement, forensic psychiatrists, and a high value asset pool in contention. Intentional delays, continuances etc. by the other side dragged out the process. It was a horribly combative and financially complex case with 3 financial experts and 2 financial trials. His experience and knowledge and counsel allowed the custody and home piece of this mess to be settled a year earlier with 50/50 custody and I received the marital home at a favorable valuation. The other results turned out as he advised they would 41 months prior. He counseled me on the "do's" and "do nots" of an ugly divorce. As a result, I was only deposed for like 30 minutes and spent only 15 minutes under cross examination over 2 trials. The opposition was staffed by multiple attorneys from one of the highest priced firms in Omaha and Kinney managed to make them look "silly". The fees I paid were less than half of what the other party paid for questionable counsel. The knowledge, experience, tenacity, financial acumen, litigation skills were by far the best you can get in NE and at a very reasonable price.

John and his team represented me through my divorce. Kinney Law made the process professional and that was a big help during such a challenging time. John listened, gave me clear expectations, and his advice set me up for a reasonable outcome. I like that John bills by phase and not by hours. I was very well represented, and got a fair settlement. I continue to work with Kinney law on estate planning and other legal matters. I believe coming back for additional business shows my respect for his team.
