Update - Mr. Burr and his communications director were very responsive, reached out and explained the process, and took action to try to make things better for others in the future. Class act. When things go wrong I normally judge them based on final action or recovery. In this case I have amended my rating from 1 to 5! Great work counsellor. I received an ad for estate and probate planning for my mother who passed away last December from the Office of Jeffrey Burr. When I called his office they were kind and professional and said they would take it up with their marketing Director but really had no direct influence over the mistake. Seriously, a private lawyer sending stuff to a residence of the deceased where the house transferred back in January. No quick web check or due diligence just sent. Shame on them. Imagine this was you - shocked of the loss, already probated, moving on and then a marketing firm buys a list without checking. Again - Shame shame shame. Final thoughts - had the firm said they would get back with me, explain the faulty process, and assured it was fixed I would not be writing this - but the arrogance they can just poop on people even as they want to provide them a service is just unacceptable.

I thought everyone I dealt with was awesome! Some attorneys are so arrogant from the minute you walk in the door. I found them to be down to earth & sincere, not looking at me as an income but happy they could help. I would definitely use them again!

I had an awful audit experience with Nevada Department of Taxation and needed help. Derek Hatch was able to look through all my paperwork and determine very quickly the tax department made many mistakes. Derek was thorough and asked good questions and got to know my business. He understood my frustration and walked me through what the steps were. The tax dept was able to re-determine my tax liability after completely starting over and turned a 6 digit tax bill into a $438 tax bill.
