More than forty years ago, I learned a valuable lesson. Sadly, I learned it the “hard way”. My wife and I were splitting up. I hoped for an amicable divorce. I hired an attorney that was the nicest guy on the planet. My wife hired a flesh-eating monster of a man that literally devoured me, my assets, and my “Mr. Nice Guy” attorney. I was sliced, diced, minced, mangled and mauled at every turn. The lesson learned was that if you can’t avoid the battle, go in armed for bear. When my daughter was recently left with no options other than divorce, we looked for the best attorney we could find. We considered a number of Las Vegas lawyers and after a pretty exhaustive search, we settled on Frank Leavitt of the Leavitt Law Firm. We made the right decision. We couldn’t have made a better selection. Frank worked tirelessly, exhibiting a willingness to go to whatever extremes necessary as long as they were ethical and proper. His knowledge of the law was excellent. His logical approach to listing and recommending alternatives at key junctures in the process was worth every penny we paid him. He went above and beyond our expectations at every turn. Despite the many obstacles presented by the courts and our adversaries, the divorce was granted much sooner than we had dreamed possible – all because of Frank Leavitt. Oh yes … there is one last comment in order.
