I felt extremely comfortable with her as my lawyer, after talking to her at my free consultation. I don’t make much, but she was really nice and we worked out a payment plan to best fit my income situation. I got arrested and charged with felony trafficking, and felony possession. I went with a public defender first, since I didn’t make much money. The absolute best deal I got was to plead guilty to a felony and have 5 years supervised probation. I ended up talking to Jherna Shahani, and retained her the first time we spoke. She didn’t give me fake promises just to get my money. She actually cared, and explained to me everything she could try to do for me. She worked for me hard, and ended up getting me a deal where I just had to plead guilty to one gross misdemeanor.
