I used Half Price Lawyers (HPL) to file for bankruptcy. The process was very simple and efficient! I set up a counseling appointment online. The next day I was called back and set the counseling date. During that appointment, any and all questions I had were answered. The pricing was laid out with out any hidden fees. Once, I decided to go with them, I set up the intake appointment (I did $0 down since I didn’t have money to put forward). After signing the paperwork, everything was moving very fast! They filed my case almost immediately, I started making payments to the court so I could get my court date (which was also very quick). At the court date, the attourney briefed me before going into the room! Court lasted not more than 5 mins. Overall a great experience! Paying HPL attorney fees is super easy; just like a monthly bill, it comes out of your checking each month for 10 months! I would definitely recommend them; and will return should I have a circumstance that requires me to!!!

I used them few times in the past they were really good and fast and cheap and they were really good with update about the case now that they are busy they raised their prices and u cant get any information about the case no update and good luck to get answer once they got ur money that's it good luck I left 3 messages for them to give me a call back to see what's going on they never call me to just let me know about my case very unprofessional I guess they are so busy that they don't need clients anymore and everytime i called even during normal hrs it's a live answering service u can't talk to reall person regarding ur case very sad

I left a review 3 months ago that was positive because they tell you some fee will be less if you do so but my experience was so bad I cant just leave it up. Do not file with these people! They will not call you back! I cannot stress how infuriating it was to have to physically show up to their office (one of those having to demand help) just to get a question answered. They will not relay your information, there's several receptionists that come and go as they please so the communication is terrible. My BK was dismissed and they said they had recommendations to help me but Mark Coburn decided returning my phone call was not important and they instead mailed me a name of lawyers I could've just googled. It took so long my garnishment started back up and that's the reason I came here in the first place. No direct lines to anyone, nothing. BUT THE WORST PART I cannot get the bank to release my car and they will not help me. It's been 3 MONTHS!! I have to make all my payments thru whoever is holding my car and its very difficult. They refuse to help me with this. DO NOT FILE HERE!!!
