My husband and no longer live in Nevada. However, when my husband was pulled over for rolling a stop sign in the current state we live in, he was taken into custody for a probation violation bench warrant in Nevada from 2012. He was extradited to Nevada. The first hearing was continued another 2 week. However, during the first hearing I was made aware by the public defender that the state was pursuing a prison sentence for a probation violation that was already 10 years old. At that time, I did some research on the internet to try an find a criminal defense attorney in Las Vegas that could help us. Trying to find a good attorney while residing in another state is unsettling to say the least. I took to Google and came across LV Criminal Defense and Nicholas Wooldridge. I started researching his credentials, honorable mentions, awards and previous case history. I sent an email to his office and received a phone call from Eduardo within 1 hour. Eduardo took the time to listen to all the facts of my husband's case and the intricacies surrounding it. Eduardo knew we only had 13 days before the sentencing hearing. He immediately gave Nick an overview of our case and connected me with Nick to discuss the case further. Nick was in constant contact with me and we worked together to obtain all the documentation needed to support the best case possible. He also reached out to his contacts at CCDC to help facilitate getting my husband on the medication he needed because up until that point CCDC was ignoring my husband's illness. Nick was gracious enough to let me vent my frustrations to him and he always made sure I and my husband were aware of the realm of possibilities both good and bad. Ultimately we rejected the prosecutions offer and took a gamble........and that gamble paid off. LV Criminal Defense Attorneys and Team, I came in hot under the wire, for same day service… which is damn near unheard of. I immediately knew I was in the right place and needed to look no further when Daniel took my situation down(on a Sunday over the phone) and told me to be in Monday morning to meet with my already in trial legal team. I’m not going to sugar coat it, Mr. W and team told me there was a 99% chance I was going to jail… but then court time rolled around and the true law improvisation and artist came out in the team… I left the court room with my hands unbound and even the judge was shocked she ruled the way she did. Now, don’t get it twisted, I wasn’t given any breaks and the legal system is best beat by following the laws and not slipping up… but, if we got it perfect every time, nobody would be tied down in it and the need for sanctions wouldn’t exist. My take away was I’m sober nearly 30 days now and have nothing to worry about, as I maintain my ships course. There are exceptionally talented lawyers out there, and LV Criminal Defense Attorneys staffs only the highest reach of the top shelf! I’ll never use anyone else, and thanks again team!!! Unfortunately, we’ll never meet in the courtroom again, but we should certainly break bread and look back on this as we celebrate freedom from a system so many are incarcerated in even though we stood in arms and served our country to ensure the constitution is upheld, with our hand on a bible!
