I found myself in a legal situation that I never though I would be in. I didn’t realize the severity of my charge so I didn’t take much consideration of who represented me and went with the most economical choice of lawyers. Let me tell you the saying is true “you get what you pay for”! After disappointment for the lack on communication and effort with my current lawyers and my charges being increased from a misdemeanor to a felony I knew I needed to get back out there and find new representation. Almost a year ago now I was charged with a dui case thats ruined a large part of my life and I strongly believed was misjudged. Great law group. A situation occurred in our family that was completely unforeseen. We needed to immediately hire an attorney. Initially we hired the wrong attorney through a different law group. I felt at that time, we were not listened to, on a timer, paperwork could only be signed in person, communication was horrible. So, we decided to part ways with that particular office and hire Las Vegas Defense Group. Mike Castillo and Evan Wozniak are amazing. I don’t feel like we are on a timer, they are kind, patient, and easy to communicate with. The application process was simple, defined, easy to understand, and straight forward. Sending documents and communicating though email was so much easier than with our previous attorney. The whole experience altogether has made us feel more at ease.

Stemming from Family Court proceedings, I was forced to defend myself in District Court against orders entered without jurisdiction (orders forcing my daughter to live with a third-party in violation of Nevada law). While the orders I was prosecuted under are currently in the Nevada Supreme Court for review, I still had to defend against those rulings in district court with Senior Deputy Attorney General as the prosecution. Michael Castillo and Sophie Salcedo were a great team. Michael handled the criminal aspect and Sophie handled the family law aspect. Both of them seamlessly represented my position both in and out of the courtroom. Michael is a stickler for the law and court procedure. He can detect the deficiencies in an opposing motion "on its face", even before looking at the merits of the allegations in the motion. Sophie is amazing with all the details and keeps everything on track. Their representation is the reason I have my FREEDOM today. God bless.
