Update: Went to court today for trial and got to see Mr. Garrett Ogata work his magic. 😍😍 They offered another silly plea deal to which Mr Ogata was able to get rid of the fine, the community service, the classes, and reduced the charges, to be dismissed after 90 days of no more getting in trouble. Not proud to say I've been through this whole ordeal as I have a great appreciation of our justice system. After seeing the difference between public pretender #1 and Garrett Ogata, I see why so many believe our system is broken... They need a better lawyer! I couldn't have asked for a better or more helpful lawyer, advocate or friend. Hope I never need your services ever again! 😂 ... Nobody likes to deal with legal issues, but from my first call to Mr. Ogata's office, I've experienced nothing but amazing service, advice and communication. I had a DV case with him last year. I ended up spending time behind bars. He demanded more money and asked if I had items to trade. This guy is a complete joke. He is a scumag. Dont fall for the reviews they are false and you can tell they are made up by people he hired.

It's been 2 years since I've closed my case with Mr. Ogata. I still get the chills thinking about the hell I went through and all the uncertainty I had regarding the outcome of what my case was going to be at the time. The day I went to get sentenced, even the judge himself made a comment saying, "Your attorney Mr. Ogata did an outstanding job getting you this deal for the severity of your case" .... Even though, days prior to my sentencing hearing, Ogata wanted me to pay off my entire bill prior to my final hearing. I said hold on a second, I signed an agreement to pay monthly payments, in which I was paying religiously and had not defaulted once in the 5 months I had been with him. We ended up getting into a very intense argument, where he started screaming at me and I yelled back at him saying how incorrect he was for doing this to me. I completely understand where he was coming from though, I know 9 times out of 10 people wont pay anything after his services are completed.... after I finished my sentence, I had 3 or 4 months left of $500 payments. He was harassing me every single week, yelling at me and saying all types of things to get me to finish my payments. If I had the money, I would have paid him off. But I'm just a student working as a cashier so those monthly payments were all I could afford. In the end, i only paid him 2 months of the 3 or 4 I owed. And I think I had left with an outstanding bill of $500 or $1000 because he gave me a nightmare and was down right being rude to me about my payments when I had been holding my end of the bargain..... all in all, when you hire Mr. Ogata as your attorney, rest assured that the job will get done. Hes an old dog in Las Vegas, hes very respected in this city, and the man will fight to get you the absolute best deal money can buy. Just make sure you pay the man off prior to your final hearing, he will give you hell if you dont! And I guess he has good reason too, hes a damn good attorney!!
