There really aren't enough stars to rate Mr. Garrett Ogata and his law firm; in my book they are a 20 out of 5. I was looking for an attorney for a family member facing a very grave charge, and the process of finding someone was nothing short of terrifying. With zero experience in today's legal system, how do you know you're going to be well represented when the outcome is the potential loss of everything you've worked for, along with your freedom? To make matters worse, I needed to find an attorney in a different city from my own. In my first attempt, I thought I was contacting a specific person but ended up connected to a referral service. I got a call back from someone the next day. He was obviously on the run, no time to talk, didn't want any details, didn't have time or desire to meet except for the few minutes before the warrant return hearing, and wanted the standard fee. I just remember hanging up with a sick feeling in my gut. Luckily, the next call I made was to Mr. Ogata's law firm. His message and manner on his website were genuine and made me feel he would do a good job, and I’m happy to say I wasn't wrong! You can tell he is very well respected by the DA and judge in his community. It was money well spent and if I was ever in trouble again, he would be the only one I call

You get what you pay for, and I did. An exceptional lawyer. I would highly recommend him to anyone facing a DUI. Because of him, that didn't happen to me. Frankly, I was indeed over the limit. How he made that disappear is beyond me, especially with an aggressive prosecutor, but he did it. I'm still scratching my head as to how he did, but he had me in and out of that courtroom in minutes.

Garrett is amazing! I was charged with DUI and domestic violence. Thought for sure, jail time, fines, DV classes, and more. My test came back clean, and he shot for the stars, and got full dismissal of all charges. It exceeded my hopes! I didn’t even know, it was possible.
