DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!!! Contacted them to get information regarding guardianship and explained the situation and they said they could take my case. They emailed me some documents to signed and then needed me to pay $400 for court fees. I didn’t pay the $400 right away and they called EVERY SINGLE DAY early morning bothering me to pay the $400. When I finally paid it, within days they told me they couldn’t take my case because the person I’m trying to file guardianship isn’t in Nevada. Although I explained everything before hand and even called them when I was filling out one of the forms they needed me to sign. Now they are giving me the runaround about my $400 refund. Iva called many times and the attorney is always “busy” and promises to call back that day but never does. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

DO NOT use this law firm, specifically Dan Allen. He completely gouged my husband and I in his custody case. There was AT LEAST 10 unanswered emails/phone calls from him and his paralegal Rhett. We would go weeks without getting a status update and when we would request one, no answer. We had an appointment set up with him and he wasn’t even in the office that day, ended up having to be through the phone. Dan is on suspension with the bar currently and it doesn’t seem like anyone is monitoring him. He’s obviously suspended for a reason. He recommended a motion that we didn’t need. Quoted us $1500 but it cost us over $2000. Total we gave this guy $6500, this amount DID NOT even get us to our CMC. Once we fired him through email, received a phone call IMMEDIATELY?!? We ended up firing him right before the CMC and did the rest ourselves. What a waste of time/money.

I paid JK Nelson $1,000. The lawyer they assigned me went on vacation the day I hired him I guess, which was a Friday. When I questioned JK Nelson as to the whereabouts of my attorney prior to our court date, Nelson informed me that my attorney had his phone off the entire weekend and up until he entered the court room the day of. I'll try to get my money back. I didn't get anything but disappointed and broken promises when I hired JK Nelson.

Very money hungry, not a “for you” lawyer Tried telling me completely backwards information to justify the cost of his services Literally every other lawyer I’ve spoken with said the complete opposite of what he said, this firm won’t help you how you need it. *Dan Allen* Said a guardianship case will be very very difficult, meanwhile guardianship isn’t permanent and is supposed to be petitioned against and it’s the easier type of case even with a trial which every other lawyer I’ve spoken with has said. There’s many other cheaper and better options. Call around and get information before you settle with this firm or any firm. *Said it would be $10,000-$15,000* for guardianship
