I'd like express my deepest gratitude for the extraordinary legal support provided by Amber and her team during a profoundly challenging time for my family. Their unwavering dedication to fighting for justice on behalf of my father went above and beyond all expectations. From the outset, it was clear that The Robinson Law Firm was not just a team of lawyers but a compassionate ally in our pursuit of fairness and integrity. They approached my father's case with a level of empathy and understanding that transcended the mere legal aspects, recognizing the deeply personal stakes involved.Throughout every stage of the proceedings, Amber and her Paralegal, Pattie demonstrated a commitment to advocating for my father's rights and ensuring that his wishes were upheld with the utmost respect and diligence. Their expertise in family law combined with a genuine sense of compassion provided us with the strength and confidence we needed to navigate the complexities of the legal system. What truly them apart was their unwavering determination to stand by our side, offering not only legal guidance but also unwavering emotional support. They listened to our concerns, addressed our fears, and fought tirelessly on my dads behalf, making us feel heard, valued, and empowered every step of the way. Sadly before the trial, my father passed away. The opposing ( unnamed)law firm, I believe intentionally dragged out the entire process in a 50/50 state charging 5x what the Robinson Law Firm charged and they didn't care about all the pain and suffering my father went through. Amber was extremely professional in our first court appearance. You could sense the judge had tremendous respect for her and it's just a shame my dad never made it to his final trial. I'm 9999% confident my dad would have won. Also a special thanks to Savannah for her professionalism.

Where should I start? I have a very greedy ex spouse and she took me back to court for more support with 6 months left before my youngest graduates. Ok no big deal but at the last minute my ex modified her motion to try to get me to pay $70K for college. I searched and found Amber Robinson. From the very moment I my wife and I talked to her staff that put us at ease! Amber and her staff are true professionals and I wished I would have known about her firm when I went through my original divorce! Do not hesitate to call Amber’s team! Extremely knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly compassionate and understanding! I cannot thank Amber and her team enough! THANK YOU!!!

After only having a week to respond to the motion Amber Robinson and her team worked proficient in my case and filled out all necessary documents , my ex wanted 50/50 custody, and she made it possible for him not to get anything he asked for since he was very mentally abusive. I still kept my physical and sole custody of my baby girl. I’m very grateful for her and will be using her for any future cases.

I wasn’t sure what to expect as this was my first time going through a divorce and dealing with custody issues/visitation. Amber helped in making me feel at ease from the very beginning. I am in a different state so going through a divorce from across the country is extremely unnerving, but she and her team managed to get me what I wanted and more! I will be using them again if needed! Thank you!

Amber Robinson and her team helped me fight the biggest battle of my life. The team was amazing to work with and I loved the fact that they made me feel welcome and feel at home, it was almost like we were family. The ending result was breath taking. It was definitely a rare case but we did it, and we did it together. The scales of justice were served and Amber and her team are the people you want on your side. Amber and her team saved my children’s lives and helped me get out of a really bad situation which could’ve costed us our lives. I’ll have to work really hard to get my mind back to good shape and I’ll need to work really hard with my kids to recover from the trauma that we encountered from their father and his family. Now, I can live my life in peace with my babies and not have to worry about whether my children are safe or not. Thank you Amber, you guys are angels sent from above! Please keep doing what you do, and don’t let nobody stop you. Thank you for doing God’s work, he always gives back.

I don't bother to write reviews, but I felt like I needed to after such a positive experience with The Bunker Law Group. Ben was very professional, showed great knowledge for the work I had him do, and finished it in half the time I thought it would take him. Ben exceeded my expectations in every category. 5 Stars all around. Highly recommended.

Gabrielle Jones is a compassionate, professional attorney that works hard for her clients. I am fortunate to have been referred to her, and I don't think anyone could have handled my divorce, custody, and support issues as seamlessly as she did. She took SO much weight off my shoulders. I HIGHLY recommend her!

  4. What is your approach to resolving cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
  5. What potential outcomes can I expect?
While no lawyer can guarantee results, they can provide an assessment of possible scenarios based on their experience.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Las Vegas, Nevada?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
