I am posting in the hopes of saving other people unnecessary problems related to any family law services they may need. Please, for your sake, do not go to Amber Robinson. Her lack of initiative got multi case wrongfully dismissed and cost me additional money and time. On top of that, when situations changed I was left with no legal protection during a six month transition, leaving my two small children open to potential harm. Save yourself the stress, and hire someone who holds themselves to high professional standards.

Unmatched professionalism It’s just one aspect of her character. Amber went above and beyond not only the courtroom but an every meeting we had. Amber as well as her team Met everyone of my requests with honesty and integrity while keeping my family's best interest in mind. Amber came highly recommended and did not disappoint, divorce and custody maybe one of the hardest things to go through in life but with Amber by your side you will not be let down.

My case was not a strong one from the beginning, yet Amber treated me respectfully, honestly and professionally. I had a different lawyer at first, who came highly recommended, but this guy didn't even want to do his job. I'm glad i found Amber, even though I lost. Amber was prepared, spoke on the important points, and followed up when everything was over. The office staff seem equally professional.

Unprofessional doesn’t even justify my experience with this law firm.. I paid this law firm in full in late March specifying how I wanted the second party served the second week of April while said party was physically in town. During the phone call appointment after I paid the retainer fee that was literally a 30 minute rushed phone call, the assistant, Melissa, literally told me my case made her “feel uneasy”. It then took a whole month before this law firm even sent me a retainer agreement. Not to mention the one email a week (if that) I would receive and the combativeness I received from the assistant Melissa. Which resulted in a conference call between Amber, Melissa, and myself that was me arguing with Melissa 95% of the phone call. Come the second week of May, I was finally called in to sign paperwork I did not 100% agree with as Amber had no interest in actually counseling me on my case. I pointed out my disagreements towards the document drafted by this law firm with the paralegal who then told me Melissa would get back to me. Mind you, I then had to email the firm to make sure my disagreements were addressed. When I was in the office to sign said paperwork I was told by their paralegal I would receive a notice as to when my paperwork would be submitted to the service company to serve the second party. I did not get any notice and it actually took them a whole two weeks after the due date of said services to let me know it was not accomplished. Mind you, that’s 10 business days for said services and then an extra 10 business days to receive notice that the service was not accomplished. Resulting in a second fee to serve the second party as he had moved addresses at this point. Amber then decided to withdraw from my case as she and her firm were clearly incompetent to handle my case or have paperwork filed in a timely manner.

Honest review. My name is Francis Owusu. I hired this firm when my son was being withheld from me. Amber actually took the time to hear me out because you know most of these lawyers give you a time limit to talk fast and sometimes it’s hard to get the whole story out. Amber’s free consultation, her friendly staff, the payment options, and professionalism led me to seeing my son again after three months. It was a tearful experience when I saw how big my son had gotten in that short time, and just imagine if I didn’t reach out and get the best help, I’ll still be wondering how he is doing while watching time pass. It’s never too late to take legal action when it comes to your kids, don’t let time slip away, Amber is the person to get the job done.
