Sitting at a stop light in Henderson, I was rear ended by a much larger vehicle going upwards of 40 mph. I was pushed into the car in front of me, and sustained damage to both ends of my vehicle. Because I was able to get out of my car under my own power, under normal circumstances, I would've relied on the insurance company to repair my car, and call it a day. I had ridden bikes with Isaiah for a while, and he always told me to call him if this ever happened, so I reached out to him from the scene. Isaiah immediately put me at ease and walked me through the necessary steps to protect my rights in this situation. He encouraged me to get checked out to insure that I was in fact ok, and explained that some injuries don't present initially, and require professional diagnosis. It turned out that I did have substantial back and neck injuries that required months of chiropractic treatment that I would've completely 'toughed out' without his intervention I had been in several no-fault rear end collisions in Las Vegas in my first 15 years in this city, but never bothered to call an attorney. I always felt that attorneys are only for people looking to get over-compensated for their injuries and I wasn't one of those people. Because Isaiah was an acquaintance of mine, he explained to me that insurance companies pay out as little as possible, and that I have the right as a driver in NV to be made whole, or as close to is as possible. Ultimately, Isaiah set me up so that I was able to see a chiropractor (who's office was right next to mine), my car was repaired to it's previous condition, and I didn't have to spend a dime of my own money. Because of Isaiah's perseverance the insurance companies lived up to their obligation and compensated me for another driver's negligence. I only wish I had met him sooner!
