My sister and I interviewed four estate planning attorneys, with one of them being James Owens. After the interviews it was a unanimous decision that James was the person we wanted to work with. He was much more friendly and personal than the others and his prices were significantly lower. We felt extremely comfortable with him. With the others it seemed like it would be strictly business and you would be “nickeled and dimed” for everything. After we hired James, he created a trust and an LLC for our mother. He did not disappoint us. We felt like we were dealing with a friend who genuinely wanted to help. My mother also loved working with him. James will not disappoint you and you will be very glad you chose him! Wayne

I've talked about doing a trust/will for two years. I talked to family and friends, and only one person I know has done this professionally, but couldn't remember details, so I decided to let my spirit lead me. I did a google search, and came across The Marshall Law office on Eastern... (not to be confused with Marshall law on 8th St.) Anyway, Sam Marshall has videos on his website explaining about wills, trust, probate, and after getting a better understanding, I decided to schedule an appointment. My appointment was with James Owens, and after we spoke, I knew that he was the one. He is patient, thorough, and his humor made me relax through this serious process. Also, I think the price is very reasonable, so if you're on the fence like I was...Take a leap!

I'm not from the area but my 90 year old mother is, she recently lost her husband and he had done nothing towards a will. I called a few places in Henderson, and all I had was SLOW responses, misunderstood emails, and sometimes triple the price for what Marshall law did for us. Was such a positive experience, we made an appointment, we came into a comfortable, professional environment, and we got it done!!! James C. We had a great experience establishing our family trust, wills and other estate documents with James Owens with the Marshall Law office. He responded promptly to our inquiries, provided clear explanations of the varied forms and was very pleasant to work with. My father passed away earlier this year, and while I was working on settling his affairs, I finally reached a point where I realized that I was no longer sure what I needed to be doing, and that I needed professional help. Sam got right back to me after I filled out the contact form on his site, patiently listened to my story, and took his time explaining everything to me. I had to sign a few documents in person, and they were able to make time for me almost immediately. While there, I went over everything with James, who was equally kind and helpful. They really went above and beyond, also putting me in contact with their CPA to complete my father's final tax return (another thing I was unaware of needing to do), and even connecting me with an excellent realtor who specializes in cases like mine to sell my father's home. I've always been slightly wary of lawyers, but working with Sam and his office was a great experience, and has done much to change my perspective.

My father passed away last year and his attorney who did his Trust was absolutely useless. After a lot of research, I hired Sam. Sam has been great to work with and has answered all of the questions the family had. I am actually from out of the area, so a lot of our communication was via email/phone. Sam was trustworthy, courteous and respectful to our wishes and very responsive. We were able to avoid probate and close the estate in a few months. Sam is now helping my husband and I with our Trust and estate planning.

Incredibly helpful. Went SO above and beyond what was neccessary. Family focused. Great person. Was able to provide valuable information that allowed us to maximize assets in regards to the csre of our mother.

Thank goodness for Marshall Law! We were moving and our moving company was horrible. He saved us from having to over pay thousands of dollars we we wrongfully charged, and avoided our belongings being held. He saved the day and helped us out of a horrible mess. We returned later to have him help us set up our business. He was quick and made the process simple.

My family was pretty desperate when we found Sam, our former lawyer had withdrawn as our case had very unexpectedly become extremely complex. After calling many many different lawyers throughout Las Vegas who would not take our case, we finally found Sam. He agreed to take our case without question. Sam and his staff worked extremely hard including some weekends to prepare for our trial in a very short time frame. Sam was also was able to get my grandma's house back into her name after it had been stolen by a family member within a couple weeks after hiring him. Sam is very well spoken, nice, caring, detail oriented, well versed in the law, and extremely thorough.

I called many attorney's offices and Mr. Marshall was the one who returned my call personally. Our matter was of a timely matter and Mr. Marshall was able to see us the same day. He was knowledgeable, kind, and provided us with the answers we needed. He gave us options on how to handle our situation that we had not considered and felt more comfortable addressing the issue in that matter. Mr. Marshall was an excellent choice for our family.

My wife and I are extremely happy with The Marshall Law Office. We came to Sam with what seemed like a myriad of estate problems and he quickly and easily answered our questions and, most importantly, found excellent solutions. Sam is extremely professional, very knowledgeable and one of the nicest guys we've ever met. We can't recommend him highly enough, and we plan to be his clients for a very long time.

We had difficulty getting a Trust attorney to call us back. Not so with Sam Marshall who immediately returned our call and understood our needs. We were handling changes to both our Trust and for an elderly family member’s Trust. We worked well with him and he met us at our family member’s domicile so as not to disturb her routine. He didn’t just download a boiler plate trust off the internet and fill in the blank spaces, he created a document explicitly for us and tailored it to fit our needs. He explained the law and his reasoning for his suggestions in a manner that was easily understood. All in all, Sam is accommodating, extremely knowledgeable, offered sound advice after listening to our wishes all while making us feel comfortable with him. We have no problem recommending Sam to anyone as we are committed to him as our family attorney and strongly recommend him for his integrity, pleasant manner and knowledge of the law.
