⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot recommend Ashlee Vasquez, Avea and Kim highly enough! From the very first meeting, Ashlee truly listened to my goals and took them seriously. I went into this process hoping for an outcome that was as amicable as possible, and Ashlee made it clear that she respected and supported thatapproach. She worked hard to educate me on my legal rights, making sure I fully understood all of my options without ever pushing me to engage in unnecessary conflict or take a more aggressive route than I was comfortable with. Ashlee and Avea were both incredibly accommodating and thoughtful throughout the entire process. First impression was everything! Ashlee V. was insightful, strategic, and always gave lots of options, without pushing us into anything that we did not want. I have never needed a lawyer to represent me in the past, so this was my first experience. I bet that, along with fictional depictions of lawyers, a person's first experience with a lawyer probably colors how they generally think of them. If I am correct in that idea, then my idea of lawyers is that they are awesome. Levity aside, Ashlee and her firm (to include Sue, the paralegal) are fantastic. I was going through a divorce that was initially civil and was going to be a joint petition but my ex kept delaying for months. Eventually I had to hire an attorney and from day one Ashlee was attentive in understanding the particulars of my circumstances, my ideal outcome, and explaining to me what I could expect. I am the type who researches and ask questions. Ashlee was always available via their client portal and, once she realized my personality was to know the details, she provided explanations of everything happening along the way. I ended with a settlement that was in line with what I wanted. 100% without hesitation recommend.

Going through a nasty custody battle is one of the most stressful things that a parent will ever have to go through. Finding a family attorney in Las Vegas is easy. Finding a good, knowledgeable one that actually has “heart” and will treat your case with the proper care and attention that it deserves, is much harder to find… After consulting with numerous local family attorneys, to put it simply… I was losing hope quickly. None of them seemed like they cared. One attorney even told me if I hired him he was going to raise my retainer, specifically because he didn’t like the attorney that the opposing party had hired! She can hold her own and morally stand up for/represent her clients against even the toughest, most expensive attorneys in town (even the ones who sometimes fight unethically or “dirty…” which is what I happened to be up against). Ashlee was professional, informative, kind, and above all honest and transparent with me throughout this entire process (her paralegal, Sue is also amazing - “shout out” to Sue). In regards to family custody and the Nevada Family Court system, I was pretty misinformed when I originally came to Ashlee. She patiently guided me in the right direction and was always there to answer any questions and resolve any concerns that I had along the way (and I had a lot of them throughout this process, lol). Last year I was served with child custody papers and it was an incredibly stressful time. I was looking online to find a great lawyer to help my family get the best results. The first time I met Ashlee, I knew from the start she was the lawyer I wanted for my family case. Even though our first meeting was done via video due to the pandemic, I was able to feel her great energy and just listening to her made me feel calmed and at ease and her words were very sincere. I knew my case was in good hands from the first time. She is very knowledgeable, understanding, and communicative; I would have a response in less than 24 hours most of the times. I am so happy for the choice I made of choosing her to be my lawyer.

Ashlee was definitely the best choice for my lawyer. My case was complex and required termination of parental rights in order to proceed with a step parent adoption. I met with her and one other firm for consultation, and I immediately called and hired her after meeting with the other firm. She was very knowledgeable and direct and good at explaining what I should expect at each stage of my case. We got exactly the outcome we had hoped for. I will definitely use them again if I ever need a family lawyer in the future, and recommend Ashlee to everyone I know.
