When I met Tin the first time, I was still feeling the full effects of a concussion (later diagnosed as a traumatic brain injury). I had trouble thinking, understanding, and simply doing anything except sitting. A trusted friend recommended that I make an appointment with Tin Hwang as she would have my back every step of the way. Because of the TBI (and associated memory problems), I needed things explained to me multiple times. Tin and my case manager, Jade, never hesitated to do so, always ensuring that I understood what was happening and what I could realistically expect. I was able to trust them completely. Tin and Jade were both very supportive, making sure that I was taking care of myself, getting the care I needed, and being as stress-free as possible. Their extensive network of medical professionals addressed every aspect of my recuperation. Because of the extent of my injuries (some permanent), it was a long process, but they were there every step of the way, encouraging me to not give up. When my case was settled, I was very happy with the settlement. I am not the same person I was before the accident, but I know I would not have fared so well without them.
