Mr. Gersten's office won't schedule phone calls at specific times, instead relies on archaic game of phone tag at unspecified times. Ridiculous. After several days this gets old. Use a calander people.

It was a big disappointment for my family! I was happy to hear them but they just talk and did nothing so sad to see this !!

We were going through challenging times and we contacted their firm with a few query emails. We met up with them at their office. They were very helpful, informative and patient with our questions and concerns. Above all, they truly cared and showed compassion towards us and our situation. They advised us what to do on our own so we might save on their fees. One doesn’t get such service with too many attorneys out there.

I was actually referred to the Gersten Law Firm. When I got caught up in a HUGE mess I was unsure about my future and the outcome. The second I asked Gersten to be my attorney to represent me, he did exactly that. Throughout the entire case I knew everything my attorney knew. I was updated about my case via phone call and emails. It made this whole process easier and less stressful for me. I didn't have to worry about attending a few of the court hearings/meetings because my attorney did it. I thanked him when it was all over. My case seemed impossible but he WON! Honestly he made it so easy and painless. Will go back If I ever need to!

Mr. Gersten is a rare and precious thing - a lawyer who really and truly does what's best for the client, not for him! He just gave me the exact advise I needed, explained why that was his recommendation (clearly but briefly) and let me go. He didn't try to drag it out, didn't say he needed to consult case law, or the NV revised statutes, and he didn't try to make me come back for another consultation. My neighbor suggested I call Mr. Gersten because he's a straight shooter, and he tells it like it is. He is, and he does. He made time for me (same day), but he didn't drag out the "billable" hours or minutes. He just gave me damn good advice and wished me well. I would recommend him to anyone needing legal advice, even if it's not strictly in the areas that he specializes in. He's bright, he's well informed, and he's very familiar with what I guess you could call "legal universals." He gives practical advice that promises the most desirable outcome for his client.

Joe Gersten is one of the most knowledgeable and personable attorneys I have ever worked with. He always goes that extra mile to make sure his clients and those around him are taken care of. Went in for a consultation and ended up hiring Jan. Very nice and very professional. Would definitely go to her again!

I hired Ms. Jacovino to help me get my deposit back as my landlord had egregiously kept my monies. I approached her a few months after I left my home in the end of 2014. I JUST got back my $1K that I had paid Jacovino and her team in May 2017!! To make a long story short. my landlord had a personal vendetta against me even though I paid my rent each month. She charged me for every little thing and kept my deposits. I went to Jacovino et al and she said that my case looked good and they wouldn't take a case they didn't think they could win. Well, after almost two years I only got back the $1K that I paid them to represent me. I asked what happened and she said that I would have to go to court. All they could negotiate of the $1500 I had lost and the $1k I had given them, was $1k. I had actually won the case against the owners but I couldn't collect because they were out of state. She said I had to put on lien on them and she would charge me more. On SEVERAL occasions I asked if she had even sent a letter to the owners threatening a lien and I was given the same reply as above. These ladies are nice enough but I think that is the problem, they are TOO nice and in this world of legal matters this is NOT what you want. I hope they learn to toughen up and get their clients what they deserve!

I hired Bonnie and Janice to assist me with my bankruptcy and I could not be happier. They were professional, honest, and very knowledgeable. Throughout the process I had numerous challenges/ questions and not only did they answer my questions, but they helped me through a very tumultuous time in my life.
