Kaitlyn helped my husband and I settle what could have been a very lengthy and complicated family child custody and support case with the best resolution. Kaitlyn handled all of our questions and concerns very delicately and straight forward. I am very great-full with the out come as we got 90% or more of what we wanted.

I was in need of an Attorney and my Fiance' did some searching and we were so lucky to find Kaitlyn to handle a child support case to clear up the emancipation of one of my children and an issue that had not be resolved through my divorce a few years ago. Kaitlyn was wonderful to work with, she was always available to answer our questions, she knows her stuff inside and out as it pertains to the law in Child Support/Divorce cases, she was very professional and her presence in court with me put my mind at ease and the outcome was great. We would highly recommend Kaitlyn to all who may need a great Attorney to represent you in these cases.

Thought I would have to pay an exorbitant amount of alimony for many years, but Kaitlyn did her homework, and I was astonished at how little I ended up being required to pay. Kaitlyn is very professional and thorough. She made me feel right at home - as though she really cared about me and the outcome of my proceeding. I normally don't fill these out, but in this case Kaitlyn deserves the positive review.

Going through a custody battle was the most stressful and heartbreaking experience of my life. Navigating the legal world was overwhelming and stressful, but fortunately I found Mrs. Miller and retained her as my lawyer. Mrs. Miller is incredibly knowledgeable, was available when I needed to communicate with her, and explained the legal process of my situation in a very respectful, straightforward way that I could understand. I remember googling lawyers of hours trying to figure out who would be the best for my case. After calling several and getting nowhere but even more stressed out because of the enormous expense, I happened upon Kaitlyn. I phoned her and couldn't believe that she talked to me on the phone for a period of time without insisting I make a $300 appointment first. In fact, I had a couple conversations with her before retaining her in which she kindly and very generously provided a generalized explanation of the situation and options about how I could choose to proceed. Once I retained Mrs. Miller, I quickly learned that she is extremely knowledgable about the law and is impressively articulate when preparing documents and when she represented me in court. My case was unique in that I had a very strict deadline to meet. Mrs. Miller was very respectful and cognizant of this stressor. She would often contact me from her home, working very long, late hours to ensure my case was prepared to the best of her ability. I truly felt like we worked as a team and I feel extremely fortunate that I was able to have her fighting for me and my child. As scary and stressful as this situation was, I believe the outcome was favorable for my child because Mrs. Miller gave our case the respect and effort it deserved. I hope to never go to court again, but if I do I would not hesitate to contact Mrs. Miller instantly. If you are researching lawyers, there is no one that will have more integrity and commitment to your case that Mrs. Miller. I truly recommend her without hesitation.

My divorce case was very interesting messy horrible etc. Kaitlyn helped me not only achieve my goal in obtaining joint custody of my children she also helped me keep my sanity in this horrible year long process . As a preliminary matter, I am submitting this as a peer review, and not as a client/former client of Kaitlyn Miller. Kaitlyn and I were both employed as deputies in the Litigation Division of the State of Nevada's Attorney Generals' Office where we focused primarily on defending the Nevada Department of Corrections and its employees against inmate lawsuits. I found Kaitlyn to be very knowledgeable regarding civil rights litigation and she was a zealous advocate on behalf of the NDOC and its employees. Kaitlyn managed not only a high volume of cases throughout her tenure, but was an invaluable resource in assisting new deputies acclimate to our busy division. More importantly, Kaitlyn was responsible for handling a number of complex cases and achieved favorable results while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity. Recently, I had the pleasure of second chairing a federal jury trial with Kaitlyn in August, 2013. Opposing counsel were two well-known, experienced Las Vegas attorneys, representing an extremely experienced inmate litigator regarding numerous alleged violations of the Omnibus Safe Streets and Crime Control Act. As lead counsel, Kaitlyn was primarily responsible for performing all pre-trial briefing, developing trial strategy and examination of witnesses. I was extremely impressed by Kaitlyn's preparation and trial decisions which led to the jury's finding of "no liability" against the two corrections' officers at the conclusion of the three day trial. There were absolutely no surprises encountered during the trial which is unusual for trial lawyers. I credit this in large part to Kaitlyn's outstanding preparation and knowledge of the facts and issues related to plaintiff's claims. I do not believe that I am understating the substantial value of Kaitlyn's contributions to the Litigation Division and was disappointed to hear that Kaitlyn was terminating her employment with the office to pursue private practice. I have absolutely no hesitation in vouching for Kaitlyn's character, integrity and work ethic, and have no doubt that she will continue to be an outstanding member of the Nevada bar. Kaitlyn's impressive qualities will allow her to succeed in private practice, and I would recommend her to anyone requiring a family lawyer.
