I retained Jamie with little notice to help with terminating the parental rights of my children's father. I had received the consents to terminate, signed by him, in the mail and came to Jamie to take care of the legal process. I had a hard time connecting with Jamie by telephone because of our conflicting schedules. At the hearing, my children's father showed up and "changed his mind." Even with our minimal time to prepare together, Jamie was on top of all the issues and truly fought for my children. It was obvious that she had received my messages and had thoroughly reviewed all the information I provided to her. Although the termination was not granted by the Court, Jamie made sure that the order issued by the Court protected my children as much as possible.
