I have nothing but good things to say about Attorney Andrew Winters, partner at Cohen & Winters. Attorney Winters has represented me in my divorce and child custody proceedings, which have spanned over the last five years. When my wife divorced me, she kept our then newborn son and was the custodial parent. When he was 3, the situation began to change and my ex- accused me of some pretty heinous things. Attorney Winters helped me through that with sound advice and exemplary representation. Eventually, Attorney Winters saw my case through to a complete change of custody. I am now the custodial parent and my case has finally settled down to a state of normalcy. Most importantly, my 7-year-old son finally has a stable environment in which to thrive and grow. He sees his mother on weekends and life is good. Attorney Winters is compassionate, knowledgeable, honest was very good at working with both me and my ex- in order to make sure we were thinking of what was best for our son and for our working relationship. Getting divorced and then the custody/support/visitation/parenting time trials and tribulations are emotionally like getting hit by a truck every day. That doesn't change, but I at least felt like there was hope with someone like Attorney Winters in my corner. I also want to give high praise to Cohen & Winters Paralegal Laura Powers who was always there to answer a question, or receive and provide documents.
