If you have a DUI or DWI and looking for an attorney, select Ted Lothstein. He handled my case quickly, professionally and explained all of my options. I was totally humiliated with this DWI offense and having attorney Lothstein take charge of the case was the best decision I made. Highly recommended.

My neighbor accused me of stalking. Mr. Lothstein understood what the real issue was, it involved a property dispute. His excellent skill in cross examination of the complainants revealed what the true issue was and I was in no way stalking. The judge agreed, and I was found not guilty and the case was dismissed. His office staff is very professional and curious.In addition his fees were reasonable. I didn’t come to Mr. Lothstein just by chance. I did some research and I had a conference call with him and my New York Lawyer. My lawyer is NYC said this guy is good. With the dismissed case I say Mr. Lothstein is GREAT!

My petition to be removed from the Sex Offender Registry went before the Carroll County Superior Court in May 2020 and after presentation of evidence and testimony in the case, my request was granted. So in 2016 I was charged with simple assault after knowingly assaulting my daughters boyfriend on camera inside dunkin doughnuts.I did so because he had been assaulting her for a while and that day I got a call from a family friend who her as well as two others witnessed and made police statements saying they saw him assaulting her yet again behind dunkins.As any good parent would do I flew down there to defend her.I made no excuses for what I did and debated weather or not to even hire a lawyer ,after all I was caught on camera but ultimately decided to do so only because I know how unjust the justice system can be so I thought it was probably in my best interest despite the fact that I figured there was little to nothing a layer could do for me besides make sure I was treated reasonably fairly.Well long story short due to Teds determination,strategic planning and having no problem or reservations in stepping on the prosecutions and town police prosecutors toes he was able to plea it down to a violation accompanied with a fine I had to pay.What a victory in my eyes!I know two wrongs dont make a right and it could be debated if I did the right thing or not but at the end of the day I do realize despite my feelings of he deserved it I do realize it was illegal.Ted and his paralegal Melanie are both very interested and compassionate people who work very hard for there clients best interest. I was stopped on my birthday and cited with Reckless Operation and told to appear in Laconia District court. The first thing I did was find out what the consequences of the charge was then I knew I needed a lawyer to help me through this ordeal. I needed a good lawyer who was also compassionate. After the Free Consultation I knew that Mr. Lothstein was the Lawyer for me. I had interviewed several lawyers before hiring his law firm. One lawyer just wanted to be my friend and another wouldn’t even consider plea bargaining. He just wanted my money and to plead guilty. I felt like Mr. Lothstein not only explained the consequences if found guilty but looked at ways to prove my innocence. If it weren’t for Mr. Lothstein’s knowledge of the law and his compassionate ways I would not have made it through the few months leading up to the final trial date. He explained everything to me and was always available to answer my phone calls or emails. Mr. Lothstein saved my life. If it had not been for his negotiations and advocacy on my part I would have lost my license and my job. Through his expertise in the laws, my final outcome was reduced to a speeding violation.
