I was recommended to attorney Harden by my father lawyer say he is one of the best, well he couldn't have been more right. I was in a pretty tight spot with my DWI case and attorney Harden had no problem helping me out. He was incredibly understanding, patient, kind, and easy to talk to with just about any part of my case. i very highly recommend attorney Harden for amy DWI case.

From the first call with him before even hiring him I could tell I was in good hands. Len always knew what to do and ultimately got me as good an outcome as was realistically possible, going from 2 felony charges to 2 very minor misdemeanors. I would highly recommend him to anybody in need of a criminal lawyer. Very knowledgeable and great guy.

Hi my name is Jeffrey S.
While staying in a rooming house in Littleton, NH I decided to go listen to music in my car at around 11pm on Feb. 6, 2019. After about a half hour or so I noticed police lights out in front of the house. Mind you my car was in a driveway approximately 10 feet off the side road and the police could not see my car from where they were.
As my luck goes the nice police officers came down the side road and confronted me as I was getting out of the car to return to my room. The policeman determined that I was intoxicated and that I had resisted arrest, so they arrested me, and charged me with a DUI and resisting arrest. Mind you I was not driving nor did the police follow me to the parking lot.
I knew/know almost nothing about any states laws and surely thought that this would be an easy slam dunk case, being that I had not been driving at the time..
I was wrong in my thinking. I didn't know where to turn, not knowing many people in NH, so I reached out to the Veteran's Legal Project of NH/Vt
They in turn advised me to call Attorney Len Harden, which I did.
I explained to Mr. Harden the circumstances of my DUI charge and he offered to represent me. I took Len's offer and I am forever grateful that I did. I had no idea the complications and laws defining a DUI charge.
Attorney Len Harden was very professional, knowledgeable, and at the same time made me feel like I had known him for years.
Very comfortable, explaining the whole process both good and bad. My case was not an easy case to win as the arresting officer nor prosecutor would not barter. The officer insisted that I had resisted arrest So I must impress upon everyone to say nothing and contact Len Hardens office ASAP and he will defend you to the fullest extent that he can. Leaving no clue or bit of evidence uncovered.
From the first phone call to Attorney Hardin, he was very polite, professional and extremely helpful taking my case and explaining the DUI laws of NH.
My case had an extra layer of burden on both sides. The determination of whether I was on a legal right of way (town property or private).
Len did an extraordinary job at presenting my case and successfully argued that neither the police nor town could determine if I was on town property. Thus having my DUI dismissed with no penalty, fines, or SR-22 filing. The resisting charge was filed for a year w/30 day suspened and any fines/court cost be paid by community service.
I am very grateful and have an enormous amount of respect for Attorney Len Hardin and would highly recommend his legal expertise to anyone in need of a competent, resourceful, professional, and highly respected attorney to represent them.
A truly grateful veteran,
Jeffrey S. , NH

I am a Massachusetts resident who vacations in New Hampshire every summer with my family. I was arrested and charged with DWI in the Summer of 2019 after going to the store to get firewood and made a right turn at a red light. I did not see the "no turn on red" sign. I was pulled over and asked to take a field sobriety test because the Police Officer claimed I had a strong odor of alcohol on my breath and my eyes were glassy and bloodshot. Truth is I had roughly 4 beverages over the course of 7 hours with food and waters mixed in. I was not intoxicated, but was reluctant to take the breathalyzer test because the officer told me my breath had a strong odor. I ultimately refused the test, so I was arrested and charged with DWI based on the Officer's interpretation of the Field Sobriety Test results.
I found Leonard Harden through an online search and called him on a Sunday afternoon on 4th of July weekend and he called me back a minute later. After our discussion on the facts of the case I made the decision to hire Len for his Services and it was a wise decision. Len and his team were able to defend me in court by proving that the Field Sobriety tests were administered incorrectly and the body cam footage showed that I was not intoxicated. If I hadn't hired Len, I would have probably had to do a plea bargain and deal with an unjustified DWI on my record forever. With the help of Len and his team, the Judge ruled "Not Guilty" after a 3 hour trial. Justice was served. I am able to continue enjoying the beautiful State of New Hampshire with my family for years to come thanks to Len and his Team.

Len Harden came as a recommendation from friends of friends and I am so happy that I hired him for my DWI case. He was attentive from the consultations through the final step of paying my speeding ticket and concealing my record. He never pushed me into accepting or going to trial that he did not feel was correct for the situation. He was upfront with me about the possibilities that could come if I loose. Len also explained everything and went over every detail of the events. He took thorough notes throughout me explaining what had happened and the DMV hearing. He ended up by winning my DMV hearing and having the police drop the DWI charge due to his knowledge and attending forums of police training.

When you make a bad decision and life seems to be at its worst, there is help and guidance available. Sometimes it costs a lot of money or time to get back on your feet again. I’m glad I chose to have Attorney Len Harden represent me and my legal issues. There may be a sense of ability for how much can be done for some people. I trust that Len looks at things from a wide angle and makes sure you have a fair chance at getting an honest chance in court. Thank you Len for your representation and your knowledge. It was critical to my health that I needed someone I could put my faith in to handle my case.

Having not had any problems in my life regarding alcohol for nearly a decade, I was charged with a DWI in February of this year, and was referred to Len Harden from an attorney in the southern NH area who had represented me in another DWI case nearly 15 years ago. The best thing I did was to hire him as my lawyer, period.
Attorney Harden brought the charge down from a felony to a Class B misdemeanor, moving it from Superior to District Court. Through his knowledge, pull, and respect as a local legal force to be reckoned with, attorney Harden was able to further plea my case down to a first offense, removing any possibility of jail time, and shaving almost 4 years off of my potential license loss. I cannot express how grateful I am for this.
I also would like to add that through the entire ordeal, any questions I had were promptly answered by Amanda at the office, or by Len himself, mostly within a couple hours after they were asked. Every step of the way was explained clearly and concisely, and inside I just knew I had a very strong player on my team. I have the utmost confidence, and respect for this man. Thank you Len!
