Of course, I had a few questions, which he answered in easy to understand terms. Shortly there after we met again to finalize the documents. I would highly recommend Joe's services.

I engaged Attorney Joseph Ransmeier to represent me, as buyer, in a recent real-estate transaction. My case was fairly straightforward, although there were a few peculiarities, such as a foreclosure in my property’s history and the drafting of a non-bank mortgage. In our initial conversation Attorney Ransmeier used clear language to list the parts of the transaction, provide a time frame for each part, and break down costs. He explained which costs were fixed (e.g. transfer tax) and quoted estimates—quite accurately—for those which were not (e.g. billable time). Once retained, Attorney Ransmeier patiently listened to my questions and responded with clarity and authority, always making sure that he had conveyed his meaning to my satisfaction. In one case where he had a doubt, he was honest in telling me that he had consulted a colleague with expertise on the matter in question. Along the way, he kept me abreast of seemingly small (but to me important) matters regarding my case by sending concise email updates. These were nice reminders that I was being looked after. I particularly appreciated that in all our email correspondence he took the time to address me by name, wrote in complete sentences, and signed off courteously. He was also not above putting in neighborly touches that reminded me I was dealing with a human being. Summing up, Attorney Joseph Ransmeier did exactly what he was hired to do, did so efficiently and competently, and was consistently responsive, accessible, and polite. I confidently recommend him to others seeking counsel on real-estate matters in northern New Hampshire.
